My find today will make CRT proud lol.
Made a full sweep of my local goodwill's and other places I stop at today, havent done it in a long time so I hoped for some good finds. Came up empty handed until the 2nd to last stop, a local used record/movie/game chain. This location has what has to be at least 100 various ps1 controllers along one wall, I am serious, it takes up like a good 10 foot section of space, just various ps1 controllers. Curious to see if I could score one of the oh so coveted "Dual Analogue" controllers that was recently discussed in this thread I start to browse. Out of nowhere bam! there one was staring me right in the face hanging on the shelf $4.99! Sold!
Well it gets better, on my way out I see a sign that says all ps1 controllers and memory cards are buy one get one free! I turn around, hoping to either find another dual analogue, or something else interesting. On a lower peg hook, buried behind some controllers I spot a ps1 screen! It was dirty as hell, but the screen itself looked good, and the best part was the price of $7.99! Still looking for my free controller I spot an Interact Barracuda 2, which I believe has the same dual analogue functionality as the other controller (using both analogues as dpads) So I snatched it up. Total out the door was $14 and change. I tested the screen and it looks great, but it seems that my ps1 needs fixing, as it wont get past the initial screen, and the laser is making a clicking sound but thats another thread!

At one of the Goodwill locations I hit, I found a very interesting Genesis joystick:

The stick is micro switched, but doesnt seem to use a spring, it was hard as hell to get to engage any direction. The button layout was also strange, with that giant C button and a and b being normal. The bottom read "Q-J SG Megastar" I would have picked it up, but priced at 8 bucks was more than I wanted to pay for a novelty like this.
EDIT:
Got my ps1 working, holy crap is that screen nice! Like I cant believe how clear everything looks, and the sound blows me away! I tried Rayman and it looked sharp and clear, and the colors were excellent. I tried Final Fantasy 9, and it looked awesome, and the text was no problem at all to read. Having this as a kid would have been awesome, imagine this on a road trip...
