Nice Finds! I'm interested in the GBA cart if you are going to sell, I'm guessing most on the cart are GB Color games? Good info on the Keio Flying Squadron demo disc, reminded me of the Quake demo disc which also has an unlock to full version bug.

That wasn't a bug. The disc had the full game and others on it so you can call to buy and put in an unlock code. That was a hack to get all of the games for free.

I remember this disc fondly. May have it somewhere. Quake was great

I tried to get some PSP games as well, but it looks like you can't mix and match for the deal.

All of the games I got came with boxes, sadly the FMA game and grim grimoire had no manuals.

I kinda did bug the worker to let me have a peek at their stuff behind the counter. Sometimes they have generic cases on the floor and boxed in the counter.

I am happy, I now have all three ps2 suikodens!

That was me!!! I haven't posted here in years but lurk quite a bit. Couldn't help but respond seeing it had happened to others with what they thought was an awesome find. I think my old name on here was something alexkidd.

In my case I bought the Phantasy Star complete game in another town for $35, rather than drive 2 hours to the town I just ebay sold it for $15 as box and manual for someone with a lose cart and made sure I explained to them exactly what they were getting.

SMS carts seem quite simple to do this to unfortunately without any special triwing screwdrivers or anything like that.

Ah well, a nice set of games. You can tell its a bootleg also by the poorly translated title list.

Looks like the games are GB color and not Advance. I have a cart that has GBA Warioland 4 and the rest of the games are GB Color. Strange you mentioned they run slow, mine all run just fine. Bootleg carts are great, a good mix of games all piled in one cart. Just don't count on game saves which usually give out due to the on board battery. I love the multicarts, makes the GBA SP an easy to pocket with a ton of games on the go.

Great find on the Total Control 2. You just made all your PSX arcade sticks available for the Dreamcast!

Your mention of the games running slow and no repeat games is really intriguing. A sign of a well put together though pirate cart. I noticed some on the titles look like NES games and not official converted to gameboy, maybe a NES Emulator built in? Note Donkey Kong Math 2 for instance.

An unusually remarkable day at the thrifts today. I had a good feeling from the beginning and it was spot on.
Not sure why I keep buying Gamecubes but I picked up a silver one with 2 controllers and all the hook-ups for $20. It works perfectly and the controller sticks are tight. Gamecubes are so ridiculously common in the thrift stores in my area. They usually run around $20 for the system alone so when I see one in great shape with controllers and hook-ups the hoarder in me can't resist. I joke with friends that I am going to build a coffee table out of them but I really could if I wanted to.
Also picked up two 1st party NES controllers and an RF adapter for $10. I saw the NES controllers earlier in the week and passed on them because $10 is a bit high but I figured it would be nice to have extras in case any of mine die out or if I find an NES (system only) for cheap in the future (which is bound to happen eventually). Maybe I can flip it and make a few bucks or give it to a friend.
I ventured into the more affluent area a few miles north and was floored to find a Sega Saturn w/controller & hook-ups for $35 and at another thrift store a Sega Nomad for $10. I never see anything Saturn related at thrift stores, let alone a complete system. Then to find a Nomad of all things...it was a good day indeed. You always take a risk buying game systems (especially disk-based systems) from thrift stores but the Saturn works perfectly and the controller pad is nice & tight. The Nomad didn't come with a battery pack or AC adapter and had some crud on it- everything seemed to have crud on it actually. I cleaned it up and used the battery pack for the Nomad I already had and it works fine. The speaker has a hiss and there are some small gashes in the screen but it's nothing major. I may try to find a battery pack and a screen replacement on eBay. Sadly, all the great stuff I found today I already had in my collection. It will be nice to leave my old Saturn in its box and leave this one hooked up. The only thing that was new to me was an Atari plug & play for $3. The stick is wonky and unresponsive and the games seem buggy. It's a piece of sh*t but better that be the one that doesn't work than the other stuff. The only game I got was Resident Evil 5 for PS3 at a pawn shop for $12. I also found some very cool old cassette drawers for $1 each (bought 3 and one double-decker). My loose Genesis carts fit perfectly.

The controller was dirty as hell, but managed to clean up 95% of it after opening it up. The stick is a little loose, but works just fine. Any way to replace the stick? I noticed when I opened it up, that it's attached to a an internal box that probably has to have the whole bit replaced. Maybe not. What causes the stick to become loose anyway?
