I'm pretty sure we all talked about how much we hated 3/S&K in the dedicated TR thread at the time. And you were upset about it then too.

The one that is "meh" to me is Sonic CD. Something just feels off about it, for whatever reason.

Of course, I have to confess to not being a huge fan of Sonic to begin with, thinking they're solid, fun games, but quite a bit shy of Nintendo's best output during the same period.

I am with you on that. I really like sonic 3 and knuckles. I am confused towards the reception. What again is the reason for not liking it?

I'm with Popo for once. I have my preferences, but all around I love playing Sonic 1-3, S&K, and CD all back to back and they each have their own cool things about them.

Saw the most hilariously obvious GBA bootleg I've ever laid eyes upon. Label was white with black text proclaiming POKEMON GAME. It belongs to my brother who apparently found it on eBay by searching for the game title, sorting by prices low-to-high, and then buying the cheapest one. He complained that it kept crashing. He also claims it's the "Japanese version." Oh dear.

That reminds me how such a thing was a bit trickier 10 years ago or so. Back before social media in another ancient era, I remember seeing things on ebay for like a Super Mario World rom hack that looked legit, or a Link to the Past gold cartridge that looked very authentic. Was harder to know the truth back then, but I never suckered into anything like that.
