Indie Box just does indie PC games.

Seems like a weird move to me, since PC is probably where people go digital the most.

Probably also the easiest to go DRM free though, and not have to pay a platform holder fee or whatnot. I think in the past there have been restrictions on retail releases for some of them too. Not sure if they still have that.

I didn't mean I wanted the company to go under. I mean, I routinely say the same thing about North Carolina's government, and I work for North Carolina's government. I meant no attack on you. I apologize for any inadvertent insinuation to that effect.

that's why there's a niche market to cater to though. Think of all the guys on this forum that have no interest in buying a $5 game on Steam but then spend $30 for it when it gets a physical console release of some sort. Indie Box is aiming at getting those people into PC. The ones who actually WOULD enjoy PC games but have something against digital distribution or just prefer collecting physical media. It's honestly pretty smart, and they make very high quality products. I've owned a lot of their releases actually. And there's some indie games out there that I would buy a physical copy of even though I already own digitally just to have a nice DRM free version w/ soundtrack.

does anyone know if the boxed Skyrim Legendary Edition has just one Steam key, or is it a key for the base game, and then separate keys for the DLC's?

I have the base game already, and it'll cost me $28 to get all the DLC upgrades (so that I'll be eligible for free upgrade to HD version later this month). However, it seems like I can grab the physical Legendary edition for $20. If it's broken up into separate keys, then that'll mean I'll also have an extra copy of the base game.

Well Steam doesn't currently have a key that is everything all in one, so ... I don't know what that means.

Looked at prices for Dungeon Explorer II today and cried. This is gonna be one of those games that joins the ranks of Shantae and Twinkle Star Sprites. I can't afford the version I "really want" so I must seek an alternative. I suppose I'll import this time.

Don't say that. Save up your pennies and you'll own it someday.
