I was a bit rough on Pokemon X the last time I posted about it in this thread.
After a short break, I'm feeling much less burned out on the title now. Heading through the Winding Woods as we speak, and will likely be battling the Elite Four soon. The game is still too easy overall however, and it's very difficult to not one-shot many opponents in battle, especially when you want to catch wild Pokemon. Still, I'm having a great time again.

Lots of Ribbit King. A strangely hypnotic game.

Going between Battlefield 4(pc), Amnesia(pc), and Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi(ps3)

Re: What are you playing?
I got myself the limited edition. I went to video games ny with o.pwuaioc last month and found it for about 130. I didn't even care what the price was. I nerded over it with the cashier who was a huge shmup fan as well (and I picked up EDF and Sub Terrania). Still have yet to watch the super play blu-ray.
I haven't blown money like that in a while.

I can't even imagine buying Ketsui from a physical store, let alone the cashier being a shmup fan. The closest I've had to this was when I bought Zero Gunner 2 from a shop in the bay area. I asked the cashier if he liked shmups. "Oh, the games with hundreds of bullets where you die over and over? No"fvgazi wrote: I got myself the limited edition. Blowing money on Ketsui is a good investment. Just tell yourself that you won't stop until you defeat Doom, and you will surely get your money's worth
Re: What are you playing?
I know I should probably save this discussion for the shmup forum, but it's probably my favorite cave game since DonPachi. Hopefully I'll be good enough to enter some high scores soon. I only play like once or twice a week.

Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.
Re: What are you playing?
Based on BoneSnapDeez's latest Intellvision pickups over the weekend, I went over to check out some of the games he had on the Intellvision Lives! collection (on Gamecube) and I played THUNDER CASTLE. Now, he didn't pick this up (but he should!) because it has some of the best graphics on the Intellvision, plus you could play it forever and feel like you make progress with 3 distinct stages and some great music too. I love this.
