* NEW the legend of zelda: spirit tracks (DS) -- two thumbs up!
+ NEW pokemon trozei (DS) -- one thumb up
* NEW excitebike: world rally (WW) -- two thumbs up!
hmm. looks like it's been a little while since i've updated.
yoshi's story: a misunderstood little platformer. the "choose your own difficulty" style seems to have confused the vast majority the of the people who have played this game. if you take the time to understand the setup, then you'll enjoy this for what it is, namely a fairly solid but only occasionally great nintendo platformer.
angry birds free: i thought i would finally force myself to see what all the fuss is about. better than boom blox (which i hated), and "enjoyable" to some degree, but not something i ever want to play again. way too pointless and mindless.
the legend of zelda: spirit tracks: i wasn't big on phantom hourglass, but i ended up quite enjoying this. doesn't quite beat out the classics, but the great dual-character dungeon gameplay was nicely done. somehow this one snuck onto my "favorite games of all time" list.
pokemon trozei: mindless, completely average puzzler. the "catch 'em all" mechanics are severely underused. decent, but i don't ever need to play this one again either.
excitebike: world rally: fantastic updated version of excitebike on wiiware. improves upon the original in virtually every way. this seems to be underrated in general, but i highly recommend it.
