hmm. looks like it's been a little while since i've updated.
yoshi's story: a misunderstood little platformer. the "choose your own difficulty" style seems to have confused the vast majority the of the people who have played this game. if you take the time to understand the setup, then you'll enjoy this for what it is, namely a fairly solid but only occasionally great nintendo platformer.
angry birds free: i thought i would finally force myself to see what all the fuss is about. better than boom blox (which i hated), and "enjoyable" to some degree, but not something i ever want to play again. way too pointless and mindless.
the legend of zelda: spirit tracks: i wasn't big on phantom hourglass, but i ended up quite enjoying this. doesn't quite beat out the classics, but the great dual-character dungeon gameplay was nicely done. somehow this one snuck onto my "favorite games of all time" list.
pokemon trozei: mindless, completely average puzzler. the "catch 'em all" mechanics are severely underused. decent, but i don't ever need to play this one again either.
excitebike: world rally: fantastic updated version of excitebike on wiiware. improves upon the original in virtually every way. this seems to be underrated in general, but i highly recommend it.

Grand Theft Auto IV - PS3
Castlevania - NES
Mega Man X - SNES
Metroid - NES
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - SNES
Grand Theft Auto IV - I'm not quite sure what a few of you were complaining about. I thought the game was pretty good. It was my first GTA game that I've beaten, though, so I don't have another game in the series to compare it to.
Castlevania - Holy Hell, I finally did it. Take that, universe!
Mega Man X - Everyone I've ever talked to about this game has told me it was extremely hard. It was, without a doubt, the easiest Mega Man game I've played, but it was really fun. Great game!
Metroid - So I finally forced myself to play through this game. Its age shows, but it is still a pretty fun game.
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - I popped this game into my SNES and played it all the way through in one sitting while only losing a single life. It was a really easy game, but something about it made me want to keep going....probably my borderline creepy love of the Power Rangers.
I'm currently playing Skyrim and it's pretty damn sweet, but you all already know that.

Re: Games Beaten : 2011
I would say that a lot of Mega Man games don't really live up to their infamous difficulty, though there are a few exceptions. The MM X series is generally easier overall than the original MM series too IMO. With armors for X, energy tanks, heart tanks, and Zero's arguably overpowered light saber, no one has any excuses for getting their asses kicked

Ha! I felt the same way.I did end up stopping during the fifth level I think. It just got so boring and repetitive.

I've only played a few of the X series games, but I have played many of the original Mega Man games, and I think you hit the nail on the head.

Actually, after the fifth level, the game changes gears and turns into a 2d fighter. It's a very clunky 2d fighter, but it's kind of cool how it switches game modes, and it's really cool because Megazords are involved. [/ObsessivePowerRangersLove]

While X is a bit easier, it's way cooler.
It's been on my BST thread for some time, but I guess I might as well beat it before someone buys it...if indeed anyone wants to be it.

I picked it up as something of a curio, and was surprised in not only its playability, but also its addictiveness. The transition compromised little, save for the lightgun-to-mouse thing. Fantastic title to blitz through at the end of the day, all you can ask for from a decent arcade game, really.

Another quick little flash game, I managed to do it w/o hints. See if you can do the same!
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Now if you want a good Power Rangers fighting game, check out Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition for the SNES. It's well worth checking out, both because it's a Power Rangers game and because it's actually a solid fighter.
