It is fucking awesome, and when my job stops keeping me up past 2 AM, I am going to binge-watch the hell out of it.
My wife and I finished this show by the way, and it was incredible. IMO, it was at least as good as the first season of Twin Peaks (which is saying something because the first season of Twin Peaks is basically the best).
Like Twin Peaks, however, the writers piled mystery after mystery, and I am not sure if they can answer them all in a satisfactory manner during a second season. (If there is a second season, that it. The first one is from 2012, and to my knowledge, they have not begun filming another.)
With that warning in mind, I still highly, highly recommend this show. It is fantastic, and it is well worth watching even if the producers never resolve all of its mysteries. (It may be even better that way...) Again, it is available for streaming on NetFlix; so, those of you with the service have no excuse for not watching it.
.....
Currently, my wife and I are watching some classic Doctor Who episodes. There is a selection of classic episodes on Netflix, and they are good, cheesy fun. Once I have built up some knowledge of the classic episodes, I intend to turn to the most recent Doctor Who series.

Started watching Orange is the New Black at the behest of my fiancée. I got sucked in, got caught up to where I jumped in after she started watching it. Going to start season two soon. It's pretty great.

I feel like I'm breaking some sort of rule by not watching it yet

I finished the first season and have no real desire to watch the second, found it pretty average.

Just watched an episode of orange is the new black that dealt with an issue I hadn't heard of, so I looked it up online, came across an article discussing it. The article referred to the moment in the episode as "distressing". But what was really funny was one of the comments:
"This is a B grade soap opera set in a prison. To all the viewers "distressed" , get a life, grow up, realise these people are actors reading a script, the show is NOT a documentary, and watch less TV.
It might do you some good."
Haha, oh you angry internet people.

Finished watching most of American Horror Story season one and all of season two. It's not the sort of thing I'd usually watch and the second season is written in a way I usually despise but I really dug it.
I think I liked the second season the most probably because it used horror tropes I'm more familiar with, nazi's, aliens, exorcism and stuff. I'm not so much a fan of ghosts with issues I guess.
It's a very well shot and acted series. Jessica Lange is fantastic as are Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters (who definitely should have gotten a bigger part in Days of Future Past). Like I say, it would usually drive me mad the way it just throws all this crazy stuff against the wall, but I think because I know it'll be an enclosed story each season and there will be an ending, it's not as aggravating as shit like Lost that just dragged and dragged. And dragged.
The ending was sort of pleasingly Outer Limits-esque as well. I was thinking it was weird how this show came from the minds of the guys who made Glee, at least until
this scene.

I also like how there are some odd threads and incidents that seem to carry from one season to the next.
Also started to watch the House of Cards remake. It's pretty funny how it's written so Kevin Spacey gets to do all the things he loves best: chew scenery, sing old barbershop songs and flatter himself by shagging Kate Mara. It's a pretty solid show so far though, maybe a bit of a slow burner.

Been watching Tyrant recently pretty good show so far.
As for those watching Orange is the New Black I loved the first Season and watched it in around two nights

. However I haven't really been drawn into the second one the characters are starting to get a little bland and the new ones are for the most part annoying as hell.

I watched the season 4 finale of Sons of Anarchy. Man, the show seems to keep getting better and better. So many things that had been building up in previous seasons come to a head in season 4. Great stuff, the show really is like some sort of Shakespearean drama...that just happens to revolve around bikers
I don't hear people talk about it much these days though even though there was a time when everone seemed to mention this show alongside top dramas like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, etc. I love what I've watched of it so far though. Some shows have this indescribable "cool" factor to them. Breaking Bad had it. Cowboy Bebop had it. And Sons of Anarchy definitely does too. It just has so many bad ass moments
I've watched the first episode of The Strain. I have high hopes for it given that it's from Guillermo del Toro, but I don't know what to make of it based on the first episode. It just feels so incredibly different from what I was expecting.
I'm nearly finished with Orange is the New Black season 2, and I think it's even better than season 1. Yet so much of what happens requires that you've seen season 1. Orange is the New Black seems to be the hip new show everyone is talking about these days (like Breaking Bad used to be) and with good reason.
I've also been watching a lot of Avatar the Last Airbender. I recently finished season 1 and started season 2. I can see why so many people loved this show. It has a certain charm to it. Good characters, surprisingly good fight scenes, comedy that manages to always hit the right notes and without going overboard with it like a lot of cartoons too, a cool Asian movie vibe, and an easy to follow story where things happen that make sense and plot threads lead to satisfying resolutions. The animation isn't the best I've seen, but it's certainly good. I'm in this for the long haul and look forward to seeing Legend of Kora whenever I finish Avatar.
