It's worth seeing through to the end, but it is undoubtedly dated (and, IMO, a bit over-rated too).

Why Civ II specifically out of the whole series?

Also, interesting to see Bioshock make the list since usually sequels don't surpass the originals.

That second list is highest rated games on Metacritic. So it's not a list compiled of "these are 100 games that you should play," it is literally just the highest rated games of all time (on PC).

Bone will definitely enjoy this one. Nintendo found some minty fresh Famicom and FDS stuff in a storage closet, including a Disk Writer.

You'd think the belts would've turned to goop on all those FDSes but I guess not.

I am always surprised, how can something be stored for like 20 years and no one even notices it?
I know of a local video business that had Umatic tapes stored never sold.!

Then that list makes a lot of sense because to me it seems they were all "revolutionary" I guess at their time of release except for 3:

1-Bladur Gate II which I didn't play but looks like Diablo clone?
2-Bioshock Infinite which is pretty much the average quality of a Triple A 2013 game
3-Divinity: Original Sin, I never even heard of this one

1- That is not the PS2/Xbox game Bauldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II (Which is a Diablo-style game), this is the PC CRPG Bauldur's Gate II, which is the best CRPG Black Isle (Obsidian) ever made, hands down.

2- Bioshock Infinite is a mediocre shooter but it had a really great story that everyone on the internet creamed their pants over.

3- Divinity: Original Sin is another CRPG, and a really damn good one with a great co-op mode. It came out a couple years back as a Kickstarter game, and did so well it even got an enhanced edition that got released physically on consoles.
I identify everyone via avatar, so if you change your avatar, I genuinely might completely forget who you are. -- Me

I absolutely loved Infinite. And it had nothing to do with shooting stuff. Yeah.
