So I started playing Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage!? for Nintendo DS today - SOOOO GOOOOOD. It's a lot like Zelda 2, which of the Zeldas I've played, was my favorite, but with less dying and confusing clues about what to do. I love the music, the animation, the gameplay... I just wish it was longer! I'm pretty sure I'm over halfway through the game, but I wish it could just go on and on.
It's also too easy to feel like much of a challenge. I know there's a new game+, I'm hoping it cranks up the difficulty.
Still, I'm loving this game.

I'm loving this game, too, but I agree on the difficulty part; the combat is far too simple and there are more item drops than there are grains of sand in the world's beaches, but it's still a fun experience. However, I disagree in that I still think a lot of the hints are still too opaque at times.

Why in the world is earthworm Jim special edition on the sega CD so expensive? I mean is it actually a rare game? There haven't really been many on Ebay lately. I was thinking about selling my copy but I don't know now maybe I should hang on to it.

I think it was a late-system release, so yeah print-run might have been low-ish. But I think why it's so sought after by fans of the series is that there's levels exclusive to the SCD version.
EDIT: also, my advice would be "trade your copy to noise."

I read your post before you put in that edit if I had the time before I was going to post something snarky about trading it to some rube that really into sega stuff before he gets bored with it all and starts collecting atari jaguar stuff or something.

If someone is listing a VGA game on ebay, that means they want to get rid of it. I doubt they'll care if you're going to smash open that copy of Metal Gear Rising that they decided to get slabbed and list for $50,000.
Something tells me you'd be getting the shortest possible end of that stick. Sellers would probably be pretty happy that they finally turned a profit after having those slabbed games sit there for years though.

Also, the only way to open a VGA game is with a hammer.

There was also a Win95 version of the Special Edition. But, yeah, expanded levels, an extra level, and CD music.
