GC Army Men Sarges War - $9.99 $2.25 - Gamestop
Marked down due to Gamestop 75% off on all Gamecube games. The employee gave me the Hot Wheels World Race with Manual inside for free since the game disc could not be found. The pickings are slim for CIB Gamecube, most stores have gutted them out.
There was another Gamestop that had an entire rack of CIB Gamecube games due to compiling from other stores. This was six months ago, they have since gutted every single game! I told the employee that there is a BookOff as well as a Best Buy up the street that sells used games CIB. I think I would rather pay ten to twenty bucks CIB over two dollar disc only. Bookoff especially has a nice selection with manuals in pristine condition and a clear plastic envelope protecting the original case.
Gamecube Medal Of Honor Rising Sun - $5.00 Bookoff
Now this is more like it. I love BookOff for the pristine CIB games, also a great price, most PS2 and Gamecube games are only five bucks! Okay this is an older title and not even 480p compatible on the Gamecube. Still, the game plays very well and it has a unique GBA link feature to show a small map screen.
Gamecube Splinter Cell - $5.00 BookOff
Another GBA link capable game for the map screen, something to explore in placing bombs on the GBA screen. Also 480p capable for a better resolution. The GBA link can hook up with GBA Splinter Cell cart to unlock new features.
GBA Splinter Cell - $2.00 BookOff
Had to get it to link up with the Gamecube Splinter Cell. A sidescroller on the small screen.
Thinking back on that Gamecube Army men, I really want to get the Helicopter Assault game. All Gamecube games work with the PS1 Flightstick. Any Flight Sim is worth getting to fly with that duel stick.
Playstation Underground Vol 3 Issue 3 - $1.00 Swap Meet
I am slowly building up the Underground discs. The two disc sets are better then the single demo discs. Since the Underground Discs was produced in Southern CA right in my county, maybe the reason why I keep finding once in a while?
GBA Video Fairly Odd Parents 1 and 2 - $1.00 each BookOff
Hey, I like some of the older Nick and Cartoon Network cartoons. A nice portable diversion while waiting to pickup my kid from school.
Horton Hears A Who DVD - $15.00 BookOff
Not a great price, had to get it for the extra Special Features that are not included on the single disc release. The bonus kids puzzle inside has not been used, I think this was a Target exclusive. The 2nd disc is the Digital Copy which very likely has not been used yet since the movie looks pristine as if new. Meh Digital Copies are worthless to me. If I really wanted to watch a movie on the PC, an easy transfer of the regular DVD which includes all the extra features.

Be careful with that copy of Horton Hears a Who. It's a choking hazard.

Greatest Find:
Once at a thrift store this summer, I spent 100 dollars and purchased the following games--all complete and with nice discs:
1) Pokemon Box
2) Zelda Wind Waker
3) Fire Emblem
4) Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness
5) Super Mario Sunshine
6) Mario Kart
7) Super Smash Bros Melee

Pokemon Stadium
9) Pokemon Stadium Bonus Disc
10) Zelda Ocarina Disc
11) Gamecube System with 4 controllers, all first party, a 1019 memory card and a 251 Memory Card with GBA adapter, but no startup disc
Second Best:
18 sealed copies of Smash TV for the NES two summers ago at a junk shop in the middle of nowhere--total cost $22.00
Third:
Thrift Store--Brand New SNES Mini system Target Exclusive with Zelda Link to the Past pack in game--$50.00
I passed on a brand new NES Action set about two months ago a thrift store, they were asking $199.00, which was a deal considering the condition of the box (looked like it was out of a shipping box), but not such a ridiculous deal that I could just blow $200 dollars.

I found a boxed Miracle Piano for the second time in the last couple of months at my favorite thrift store. The first time I came across one, it was only the keyboard in the box and it looked a bit rough. It was $40 but I just couldn't bring myself to buy it. It sat in the corner for about 2 weeks before someone bought it. I've regretted not getting since. I usually don't go to the thrift stores during the week but figure "why not?" on the way home from the post office. I spotted another one there. I thought maybe it was the same one that they had before so I was going to grab it anyway. I opened the box up and quickly noticed it was in the styrofoam and that it came with some cords and original plastic so I just snatched it up and made my way home. For $40, boxed with cables this was a no-brainer. I opened it up to inspect everything once I got home and realized that this thing may have never been used. The PC serial cable still has the original plastic thingies to that keep it neatly wrapped and the disks/manual are still sealed. The only crappy part is it's missing the power cord but that's the least troublesome part to replace. The foot pedal and crappy earphones are even in the box! I am amazed. Time to search for the NES cable making tutorial here on Racketboy!! This was a really good find.

I wouldn't worry about them. I think it is the digital copy of the film you have to look out for...
(Also, nice find on the Miracle Piano, J_Wil!)

Nice find on the PC version, talk about lucky! So strange that the same Thrift store would get two back to back. Maybe they came from a local school, more might show later?
The Miracle Piano is the same for all the consoles and computers it supports, just need to match the right cable. Good that you got yours with that PC cable, a MIDI Cable set can also be used. The NES Cable tutorial is in the Guides section of the Forum.
