I do not recall individual prices, but most of the titles were about $3.00. (Fire Emblem was a bit more at $15, but still well-below market value.) I also picked up a few nice things for my secret santa recipient, but I obviously am not going to post those items here.
EDIT: Since RC Helicopter and RC Stunt Copter are the only RC helicopter games in existence, I apparently picked up a complete library of RC helicopter games for a mere $6.00. Was this a good investment? According to the founder of Shiny games, RC Stunt Copter alone saved him literally thousand of dollars on a real RC helicoter. Accordingly, by purchasing two RC helicopter games - and applying that logic - I have saved literally tens of thousands of dollars since I may now forego purchasing at least two RC helicopters during my lifetime.

I got most of them at VGE and various antique malls, but I picked up Fire Emblem at:

That store keeps odd hours. I would call before you head over, and I expect that they are closed on Sunday.
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Went to another Gamestop today, and cleaned them out of their GC games. Unfortunately they were almost entirely disc only, and the one that I wanted to pick up to actually pay for the rest of them was put on hold already. (Whoever that person is, is a jerk.) Also stopped by a semi-local (as local as a retro gaming store gets in my area) place a short jaunt away, and came away with:

I got Custom Robo from the second store for $5. Everything else was $22.75. Individually, I payed no less than $0.50, and no more than $2.50. In retrospect, Crash Tag Team Racing really wasn't worth it at $2.50, but by the time the Gamestop guy had picked through all the disc games and pulled them out, he had already taken away my list, and didn't really give me any time to mull over the individual prices vs condition.
Moving on:

Bit the bullet on an SMS. I think I'm in love.
CIB (for what I care; it's missing rf/300ohm switch and A/C adapter) SMS - $50
CIB Fireshark - $10
SMS came with Great Basketball, and is supposed to have Hang On/Astro Warrior built in, but I can't figure out how to get to Astro Warrior; which sucks because I would really like to play that game.
Also completely forgot about a couple colecovision games I picked up from the second stop when I was photographaphizizing.
Lady Bug - $2
Carnival - $2
Frenzy - $3
Oh yeah, and I got this, CIB with near mint disc and manual, for $24.
Whatevs.

Unfortunately, I'm looking for the Japanese version of this game. (Even more so after playing through the intro story segment.)

For cars, the woody would look nice if a more durable material. I have a 67 Mustang with that gauge panel sticker board, all sun baked faded and peeling. Were it a 68 it would have gone back to the beautiful hardy aluminum trim. Debating if I should strip and paint or put reproduction sticker that I picked up from National Parts Depot.prfsnl_gmr wrote:That is some beautiful wood paneling! Nice Finds! There was one Gamestop that had tons of Gamecube games, but just the lousy discs. The OCD in me wants CIB so I passed up on them. At those disposable prices, maybe I should be hit on the head with a hammer?pierrot wrote:Went to another Gamestop today, and cleaned them out of their GC games. Yeah, I've been calling around to places in the area, and pretty much everything 'good' that's left is disc only. I bought quite a few that I didn't really want that much, and maybe shouldn't have bothered with, but they're so cheap, I figured I'd just get them to be able to play them, and see about upgrading them for complete games once the dust settles a bit on the Gamecube market.CRTGAMER wrote:Nice Finds! Also have some games that I'm looking for disc only copies of, but so far no luck on those ones....

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
That one thrift store I really like to go to seems to get a steady trickle of Gameboy related items. Found this today while browsing. One of the workers had literally just put it out as I walked up to the counter.

The batteries inside this thing are set to expire 'March 2013', so someone must have been using this thing up until fairly recently. The system's in great shape too. No nicks, or scratches of any kind, and other than Tetris all the other games are new additions.
It would have cost me $7.50, but I still have some money left on my gift certificate so it ended up being free. Sweet

Woah, never seen a black Game Boy before

That old tv was the only thing that would display it right.

Really should pick one up for owning as an early history in gaming. Maybe a screenshot of your treasure in action?

Well, that's probably the most appropriate one to use anyway.AppleQueso wrote:That old tv was the only thing that would display it right.
