Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
today it's not look what I found, but look what I ordered.
I took a break from work and decided to do some internet shopping
at Sears.com, I found a copy of ps3 Lollipop Chainsaw for 20 dollars
so I ordered it, I should be getting it in a week or so.
it looks like this game is finally going down in price. in many places where I look its still above 30 dollars
I guess this happens with all games eventually. still 20 dollars is an acceptable price and I also got free shipping.
Edit: also I forgot to say that at Gamestop I picked up my pre order of Ni No Kuni Wrath of the white witch along with the pre order bonus.

How do those red joysticks play? I'd love to play some Atari games on a controller that didn't fall apart or give blisters.Luigiman wrote:Not the most amazing deal, but box!

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Very nice! I am having a very good time building a 2600 game collection, and I hope that you enjoy your new system. (The games are so cheap!)
...
I took a trip to one of my favorite hunting spots today...and ended up almost completely empty-handed. Fortunately, a local GameStop hit it big with buy-two-get-one on used PS2 games. I got:
Jak II (PS2; CIB) - $3
Tokobots + (Ps2; CIB) - $4
Virtual On Marz (PS2; CIB) - $0
Winback 2: Project Poseidon (PS2; CIB) - $0
Red Steel (Wii; CIB) - $4
Wii Music (Wii; CIB) - $5
Basically, I ended up with a stack of six Wii and PS2 games for $16. (I don't know why the store ended up giving me two PS2 games for free...I didn't notice until I checked my receipt and they were both listed as $0.00...) Tokobots and - particularly - Wii Music are already hits with the three-and-under crowd at my house.

They're Wico Command Control Sticks - They feel and control great!c0wb0y wrote:How do those red joysticks play? I'd love to play some Atari games on a controller that didn't fall apart or give blisters.
There's a switch to switch between either the button on the base, like a regular Atari controller or the button on top of the joystick
They feel very solid, and are made of plastic, I think, so the joystick feels smooth.
The only thing is you have to make sure to push directions ALL the way - it won't register if you don't push it hard enough.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Yeah, they're good stuff. Though they're leaf switches so there's less of a "click and it stops moving". Takes a bit of getting used to if you haven't played with a stick like that before, or not since the 80s. Just a little different if you're used to modern sticks. Much easier on the hands than Atari ones though.Luigiman wrote:They're Wico Command Control Sticks - They feel and control great!c0wb0y wrote:How do those red joysticks play?
