Games have to be part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, which at the very least seems to require that the game is published via the Windows Store.

However, when they announced that program, Microsoft also claimed that their upcoming Xbox One titles would all be coming to Windows as well. Given that most of the exclusive games on the system are MS published, that'd make the system kind of a moot point for those with a good gaming PC. I think that's more what ElkinFencer was getting at.

ok, that was my confusion. So it wasn't technically "all Xbox One games will be on PC," but rather "all MS published One games will be on PC"... which is mostly the same thing? Got it.

Not like there's a huge difference there between that large lacking void of first party X1 releases. :P

RGT: Lumines has been on Steam since 2007. How have I never known that Lumines was on Steam? Wow.

In fact, it might be my last non-Nintendo from this gen on. For me, it's starting to feel like I'm just better off hunkering down, picking up the best and brightest games of various consoles (or hardcore emulating) and just riding it out.
I had this similar thought a few years ago and decided that the 7th generation of consoles was it for me. The Xbox 360 is my "anchor" which means it's my focus or forte.

It's based on a cut down version of Luminies II from what I read a short time ago. I haven't played the PC version but if you get it let is know how it is.

Are we sure every one will? I thought it was just ones released on xbox and pc will be cross buy?
It's unclear what the scope of the cross buy program will be. Obviously the game needs to come out on the Xbone and PC for that to happen, but will games hitting all three platforms show up on cross buy? Will we start seeing previous Xbox only titles getting launch day PC ports as well?
I was under the impression that all future Xbox One exclusives will also be PC, but as it doesn't impact me directly since I have both the Xbox One and a high end gaming PC, I haven't paid super close attention, so it's entirely possible I'm mistaken.

How is MAME thesedays? Anyone got some recommended sources for emulation? Since I've been rewatching some TMNT movies, it's gotten me in the mood to play some of the games again. But it just hit me it might be more interesting to run through some of the arcade versions instead of the console ones. I'm assuming II and Turtles in Time are a little different... I know Turtles in Time arcade is insanely difficult haha.

Well, then again since the arcade versions were four players, maybe they're not that fun solo?
