Re: What are you playing?
I've just started getting into my Psp library and started with God of war Ghost of Sparta. It's really fun game filled with all the GOW perks, such as the kick a$$ finishing moves and of course nudity. The game is really fun and deserves to be in everyone's Psp library.

Arpuhguh? Fffpiss? Bah!
"Shmup" is far more elegant!

Or you can get the origins collection on the PS3...

Re: What are you playing?
Played a little No More Heroes today, I'm finding it very boring and the combat kind of sucks, especially that stupid battery draining bullshit with the sword. That's annoying. I hope the game gets better.
I'm starting to think that with the exception of Lollipop Chainsaw, which I loved, I'm really not a Suda guy.

If you decide to make a huge rage post about how No More Heroes is a boring lifeless piece of crap with terrible gameplay and Suda is a hack, but then claim that Lollipop Chainsaw, which is the exact same thing, with a different character and less content, is totally awesome, for my own sanity, please PM me and tell me to stay off the forums for a few days so I don't have to read it.
I mean, if you don't like it, that's fine, but I find it highly curious that you could find NMH and LC so different in combat when they are almost the same thing. If you have other reasons for disliking it, then just go ahead and say that, because comparing the combat is not very valid. If anything, NHM is deeper in combat, especially in boss battles.
I don't know, maybe you haven't played it very much yet. Seriously man, let it grow on you. You might find yourself surprised.

All except for the cop-out ending, yeah.

Re: What are you playing?
Bionic Commando was definitely solid, a nice underrated gem. Lost Planet is still probably my favorite from Capcom this gen though.
So I'm a really good chunk into Infamous now. From my side-play... to basically my main focus now, I have to say I've been incredibly impressed with how well this game evolves the further you get. I've seen other sandbox games or open world stuff fall into the trap of letting you get too powerful, or the pacing just messes up somewhere and the game starts to get boring. But Infamous feels like the total opposite. Early on you kind of realize it's very easy to level up your powers and it doesn't take long to see the new abilities stack up, but then the enemies keep evolving, new gameplay mechanics come into play, the level design gets more complicated, and yeah. It was a slow start for me, but it's been more than worth it. Can't believe how fun the powers are and gliding/boosting across the city. I've heard all the powers carry over into Infamous 2 so I'll be curious to see how that works.
I'd compare it to Crackdown in a sense... that I was a huge fan of as well, but in comparison to the depth of Infamous here, Crackdown is utterly bare bones and outside of collecting orbs when you were fully powered, there was like nothing to do or to keep it interesting.
It's safe to say I'm really digging Sucker Punch and will have to keep an eye on them from here on. Really loved the first Sly (still need to play the others) and now Infamous... these guys have style points through the roof and really good writing/dialogue. Top notch polish too, Infamous has aged damn well to say the least. Second Son is on my radar now, but I'll be really interested to see what these guys do next and hope they keep the style/comic stuff and all that going.
