I think I've even seen that in the one for jungle book(which is the movie I started earlier but haven't finished yet and will probably restart a tomorrow and finish).
I guess it depends some on what makes you perceive it as hand-drawn or not. I'm more inclined to chalk up a lot of the imperfections to the film being nearly 25 years old by the time it had a VHS release, and the state of restoration and transfer technology at the time, versus what can be done today.
Looking at captures from the Blu-ray release, there's still a hand-drawn look to it.

Not saying they didn't maybe filter something too much, or remove dust/etc that made it to the original master. However, my feeling is that restoration probably comes in looking more like the film did when brand-sparkly-new.

Well if i'm correct they did edit ET and a few others in undesirable ways from what the originals actually looked like(guns to radios or something of that sort apparently, and I've heard others have gotten the same "modernization" from what I hear...)

E.T. was more of a Director's Cut. The 20th Anniversary Edition changed the guns, but added in some cut scenes with new CGI, and that kind of stuff too. It was a distinct version of the film, and some of the DVD releases included the theatrical cut as well.

The more recent DVD and Blu-ray release was remastered in HD, and is the theatrical version.

Having a special edition or director's cut isn't really the same thing, I think. Sometimes, it's for the better. Blade Runner's DVD/Blu-ray versions, for instance, are well regarded. Of course, having releases that include all five or so versions of the movie are nice too.

Usually, the most I can think of that gets "fixed" as part of the remastering process are production errors. For instance, the snake reflection in Raiders of the Lost Ark that was removed in the DVD release.

Not saying there aren't stealth edits from time to time. Disney has a few famous ones, like Fantasia's. Just, most of the time, it's purely a restorative effort as far as the picture is concerned.

When schools are breeding ground for promiscuous behaviour, is anyone surprised that this happens? Offenders should be punished obviously, but when students dress as skanks and drink themselves silly bad things tend to happen.

Oh and I can't stand Jessica Williams any longer

If the victim is going to have the temerity to have been born so they could one day be in that situation then yes, I'm going to victim-blame.

Nah I'm not blaming anyone, but the milieu in which the harassment occurs is crucial in my judgment. When you're drunk-driving and/or texting and kill someone, you should be punished more severely than just a regular hit-and-run accident that didn't involve any avoidable distractions/impairments.
