What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

This is very crude and juvenile, but I do seriously do hope Luke knocks some boots (off screen) and Fathers a child.

Related: A friend of mine who works with ILM spent the weekend at Skywalker Ranch. "Jealous" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel.

A lunch picnic at Ewok Lake? Has to be all downhill from there. Honestly, I can't even imagine how awesome that weekend would be.

If you didn't understand it, then why did you do it?

Finally got to see Wolf of Wall Street, and it was about as good as I expected. Much longer than I had anticipated, but worth the watch. I did feel that McConaughey looked a little to thin still in this role, although making him a drug addict pretty much made it believable.

GRAVITY

Definitely a movie you should see in a theater.

In my own little world, I would have made this movie a silent movie. Complete, absolute silence.
The movie doesn't even require subtitles besides that fantastic dream sequence.

True, it wouldn't be for everyone, but imagine being in a theater with dead silence. I get chills thinking about it.

Last movie I saw was Harsh Times. Pretty much Christian Bale being insane and getting messed up all the time  . Pretty good movie but I probably won't make a point to see it again.

There are a couple of different titles for this one: Hakaider, Mechanical Violator Hakaider, and Roboman Hakaider.

Not gonna lie, after a potentially promising start, this one went downhill for me. It didn't help that I suspect the film's subtitles were translated from Japanese into Mandarin Chinese and then into English, so they were rife with problems and misspellings. But the majority of the acting was poor, the action was generally anti-climactic, and there were a couple of fights won solely through Deus Ex Machina. I was hoping for a half-decent cyberpunk movie, and while this one had some elements I enjoyed(interesting costumes, some interesting and unusual dream sequences), the negatives far outweighed them.

The care for detail, like Gort's actor being over seven feet tall and given lifts so he towers over everyone by atleast two feet, and his costume was made in few parts so it looked seamless. It is a bit heavy on Atomic Paranoia, but it was made in the 50s.
is this movie genuinely good or is it "so bad its good" ?

I would rank it in the top 10 movies ever made.
