Wow, you guys. This year has probably been the year when I beat the least amount of games in my entire life. Your lists make me feel unaccomplished.
-Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi (1CC) on MAME.
-ESPgaluda (1CC) on PS2.
-Harmful Park (1CC) normal mode, on PS1.
-Heart of Darkness on PS1.
-Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge (1CC) on Sega Saturn.
-The Last Blade ("Bakumatsu Roman: Gekka no Kenshi" in Japan) (Using one credit until I credit fed at the last boss' final form.

) for Neo Geo.

Costume Quest - Grubbins on Ice DLC (PSN)
PixelJunk Shooter 2 (PSN)
Back To The Future: The Game - Episode 2: Get Tannen! (PSN)
*New*Assassins Creed 2 - Sequence 13: Bonfire of the Vanities +Templar Lairs (PSN)
Significantly better then Sequence 12. The story was much better, the missions were much better and the templar lairs were very fun. Otherwise, if you know assassins creed you know what to expect.
*New*Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game (PSN)
Just decided to nab a couple more trophies for this one day and I ended up doing a second run through. Its a short and light hearted Beat em Up. There are probably better games in the genre but I wouldn't know, Im not a fan. This is the only Beat em Up I play.
*New*Section 8: Prejudice (PC Download)
Very competent game for the price. Feels like a full budget release. Its a shame the multiplayer is dead mostly.
*New*Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault (PC)
By far the worst Medal of Honor Ive played. Maybe the worst FPS. I did not have fun once while playing it. Im not sure why I forced myself to finish.
*New*Prey (PC)
From great at the start to mediocre at the end. Had some fantastic ideas through out, from portals to gravity changing rooms / walkways and the spirit walking. The game has a lot of character and charm. Its also great to see an aboriginal person as the lead character, with strong aboriginal themes throughout the game. Its definitely a theme I would like to see explored more.
*New*Grand Theft Auto IV (PC Download)
For a game thats centered around sandbox shooting it does nether very well. I find none of Rockstars games have good shooting mechanics though. I can't figure out how they always make them so bad. As for the sandboxing, its a great city to look at. It does feel alive when you are walking around, everyone is doing something unique. It feels like the npcs are going about there lives instead of doing a scripted action. The problem is that while there is a lot to see, there is not a lot to do. Where are all my side missions? Why is there only a handful of stores? Why can't I go in more buildings? Its frustrating when most areas really are only good for driving.
Total:
53What am I playing now? This section used to be "Whats next?" but I found that I never actually went through with what I planned to play, so instead I will be talking about what I am currently playing, even if I have no plans on finishing said game(s). I recently bought and installed
Roller Coaster Tycoon from GOG. I've also been enjoying the shit out of
Dark Souls on PS3. On the mulitplayer side I have been playing
Team Fortress 2 for the first time, as well as playing the
Uncharted 3 Subway Multiplayer Experience.

I used to LOVE that game when I was in middle school. I used to get bored and make roller coaster death traps for shits and giggles.
I turned out okay, I swear...

I've been the same way this year. I can't remember ever playing this few games over a year since I was 7. Getting a DSi XL (after 6 months of being completely DS-less) has recharged me a bit. I've been playing through Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations the last couple of days.

I used to do that too! It was hilarious the first few times. I would try to make the fastest crash I could, so as to maximize the distance the cars would fly. I'd even try to make them crash into large crowds of people on the sidewalks, onto other rides, into lakes, and so on. I'd also try to torture guests for fun. I'd take one who was already a bit grumpy, and put him on an enclosed pathway in the middle of nowhere. He'd get madder and madder until his face turned red, especially if there was no bathroom provided.
I used to do similar things in Microsoft Flight Simulator 98. I'd take off in a small propeller plane in NYC (I chose a propeller plane because they broke up into pieces when they crash), and I'd head straight for the World Trade Centers.
Yeah, I know...

Yeah, I know...
I used to build one square walls around my Sims, so they would piss themselves when they needed to go No. 1, then they would die shortly after. It's a cutthroat world out there...

That gives me an idea. I want a game that allows you to trick people into going on a "free" hot air balloon ride. The more charismatic you are, the more people agree to go along for the ride. Then you crash it into something huge, which would cause your multiplier to skyrocket in accordance to the number of suckers you had on board (you would, of course, be watching through a completely safe, glass tower). Children and animals killed would give you bonus lives, which would come in handy when you have to fend the CIA and SWAT team off. Tears of wrecked and injured survivors can be drank for health revitalization. Bonus points are rewarded for hitting famous monuments in their weak spot, causing them to get completely annihilated. The "refreshments" on board would be high doses of chloroform mingled with white wine, which would prevent them from mutiny. These will be available so long as you have sufficient funds from the scam to keep the cycle of treachery going. After the 100th level (the 100th ride), the game ends and the player wins with his endgame score tallied up to unlock new and exciting modes.
If anyone cares to top that fucked up game idea, I would love to hear it in detail in a dedicated thread.

Im pretty sure everyone did that!
I know I never actually beat any of the scenarios as a kid, just did that with whatever scenarios were unlocked from the start. Im actually playing the game like a sim now though, and its quite fun.

Forgot to update this for a bit! I've been burnt out on gaming for the last month so I haven't done much. Starting to feel the itch again though...
Dawn of War is a really fun game. I'm not an expert on RTS by any stretch, but I enjoyed the story of the game as well as the difficulty curve that never spiked too high between missions. I also have the expansion packs which I'll play later.
