What was the last movie you've seen?

I stopped watch Prometheus for being to slow and I can tell this movie has nothing much to offer.

I am very impressed by Aliens and how they imagined technology in the future. Just compare it with other tech. movies from the 70s. Actually, compare it with movies showing computers from the 80's and it is still much better. Though I am not sure which one I saw, Alien or Aliens, it was the one where Ripley gets out of the spaceship at the very beginning of the movie.

How is Anti Trust? I wanted to watch that movie but I felt its just a bad movie to make a quick buck

Talks to it like a baby and then tries to pet it while it's clearly agitated

No common sense whatsoever.
A lot of people that have very focused knowledge in a certain specialized subject tend to have bigger lapses in "common sense", especially under stress. Not that there weren't really stupid lapses or that it was a perfect movie, just saying.

Speaking of disappointing films with irrational protagonists, I watched The Lost World: Jurassic Park. It's a guilty pleasure mostly because the bit with the T.Rex in downtown San Diego is pretty cool and there's a ton of new dinosaurs. I also kind of liked JP3 though.

I was reading the Lost World book but it didn't grip me the way a few other Crichton novels did.

I think he may have been "forced" into writing it. A lot of the characters who died in Jurassic Park were suddenly alive again.

I said "it's no Hackers", which means Hackers was WAY better. Anti-Trust isn't bad but it's not incredible, either.

Yeah kind of felt that way to me to. The whole Predator style adaptive camouflage thing at the end was just to far out there for me :P. Did love the section where a certain individual chased a T-Rex on a bike though  .

Wish the first JP movie had stuck closer to the book things were so much more interesting. Plus I liked Hammond more when he was an asshole using his grandchildren to promote his park then the Santa Clause like individual they made him out to be in the movie. The last bit with him in the book was also priceless  .

Anyone else notice Jurassic World(JP 4) which is slated for 2015? Posted about it a few pages back. Had dismissed any chance of a sequel after the last batch of rumors a few years back but apparently it is happening. Some "interesting" casting choices so far. Only returning character is Henry Wu. Hopefully they aren't doing the whole human dinosaur hybrid idea they were tossing around a while back sounded pretty idiotic but that could be a reason for Wu to be back :P.

Didn't Hammond fall in a ditch with a broken or nearly broken leg and was then eaten alive? Dr. Ian Malcolm also died didn't he?
I've seen sketches of the human dinosaurs, and they're pretty terrible.
