Also not recommended at quinceanera's. I'd use it only in the safety of your closet.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Be careful with this term...If you use it in NYC, you might get murdered, raped, or robbed by a member of the Bloods, Crips, Lizzies, Orphans, Riffs, or Rogues.REPO Man wrote:shitdicking

Thanks Ack. I'm worried on how my wife will take it. I try my damned best to be supportive, but I'm awful at it. It's very difficult for me to not say "suck it up" so I'm not the best shoulder to cry on. I'm a great sounding board, but I don't like crying, at all. Plus her brother cries during movies, so he'll be a wet blanket during this, and her Father also wears his emotions on his sleeves.Ack wrote: Luke, I'm sorry to hear that. My grandmother on my father's side is also at the end of her rope, and my dad's been busy lately trying to take care of her affairs, which are apparently a mess. I hope everything works out and your wife handles things well.
In short, I'll be the one telling myself to suck it up and endure the tears and sobs. "Sad" is an emotion I am uncomfortable with, but I need to deal with it.
Oh, I meant to be as literal as possibleKitKatCara wrote: Also, Luke, that is more literal than you intended. My family owns a Cemetery that is too small for machines.
@Repo: For the sake of all that is holy have f2f interviews with your maybe roommates.

Smile: Found out I can save 20% off my mobile phone bill since my wife is a teacher. I can also get a Galaxy 4 (or whatever the newest one is) for $20.00. So it basically evens out on my next bill.
Bonus Smile: $50.00 of free local pizza!
How about another Smile?: Wife loved the roses I bought her, and also loved the wine and brie cheese. We'll probably have a wine and cheese & cracker dinner picnic tonight. And we'll bring our Ripley.
S'more?: Picnic to be followed by smores at our fire pit.
Get out of town: Smore's will be followed by stargazing as I've already brought out my telescopes.
Just stop it: My dry cleaner has one of those punch cards (get ten cleans, next one is free) and I'm getting a suit (and tie) cleaned for free.

That's not true. When I first joined the site Hobie shived me in the shower. What's the difference between a shower curtain and toilet paper?

* No one cares that one of the cheapest, ugliest, most pitiful Power Rangers knockoffs is coming to DVD?
* Haha! Warriors reference! And fitting since my mom probably thinks NYC hasn't changed since the '70s.
* Well, I don't know anyone who is related to anyone with one coming up soon. And even then, if I don't know the girl (why and how would I?) why would I go?
* And I know no one will hurt me here. Everyone here knows I'm crazy and not to strike a crazy person. Although I prefer the term "pathologically high-spirited", but I'll accept "weird" or "nerdy".
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Thoughts are with your wife Luke, hope things turn out well! My wife's grandmother is going insane and it's hard to watch.
Several smiles for me! Found out recently that neither of my other girls have HLH! It was about a 25% chance so ... dodged a bullet.
Moira has several bone marrow matches and they were sent to her doctor, so probably will be get the procedure kicked off in about 2 weeks or so. I'm anxious to get it going and also really scared of what she has to go through.
On the frown side, we'll probably not have any more children. 25% chance is too great a risk. It's not that I necessarily wanted more, we have 3, it's just that it's seems like a decision that is taken out of your hands and that makes me sad.

Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.
