@jinx, that's good to hear. Although, I have to wonder, do you have a history of anxeity issues by any chance, or is your job really just like that?

You say that like the tabloid press in general ever publishes anything worthwhile...

I have some serious anxiety problems. I'm actually supposed to be on medication for it, because my heart will start beating sporadically. Doctors are afraid that I may eventually have a stroke or heart-attack. meh...
Although, it's extra nerve racking when a new company takes over and makes a ton of changes to a job you just started. A lot of us were on edge, because changes were being made, but management was being quiet. People were slowly let go, and some supervisors suddenly vanished. Didn't look too good...

Man, I regret posting that. I also regret that you had to point that out to me, Luke.

I refuse to regret your regrets!

Frown: Got a call from my Father in law in which he basically said my wife's Grandfather is living on borrowed time, as his dementia is rapidly progressing. He told me to keep my lips sealed concerning said subject, but that rough times are nigh.

Okay, he didn't say "Rough times are nigh", those are my words, but he did say that things don't look good. My wife has never dealt with a family member passing away, so I don't know what to expect from her when the inevitable happens. Everyone reacts differently, but she is a very, very emotional person and I on the other hand blurt out things like "at least it's not me in that coffin".

I may be way off base here, but you should probably avoid that comment...

Yup. I'll also avoid tossing out "They say the grass is greener on the other side", "Nothing like a long nap", "Shit happens", and "One of these days...Ya know?".

:D Jinx's update.

:? I've been thinking about getting a job. I've always worked in the food industry and then retail for a short while, but I don't want those kinds of jobs anymore. I think a desk job being a receptionist will really help me out and look great on my resume. I have management experience, but I don't know if that helps or not. Also, the thought of putting the kid in daycare is kinda scary as well.

I like being a stay at home mom, but I don't like not working. This is the longest I've gone without working and I feel weird. We don't really need the extra money.. it would be nice though.

 I actually got to play with the 3DS today. Jinx might not get it back.

This is mean of me, but I kinda look forward to the awkward funerals where people get word vomit and blurt out the most hilariously inappropriate things.

The last viewing I went to I actually was the one who goofed up, but instead of being something I said, it was something I did. They were holding Mass and waving around the smoky thing (I'm not religious, so I just sat outside) and I got hungry. My cousin and I decided to walk across the street to the gas station and I got nachos. We come back and start eating, then the mass lets out. I thought they were longer than that, but this one must have only been 30 minutes total. The whole family came out and saw my cousin and I eating nachos. Nobody said anything, but boy did I feel classy.

Well, I actually did say something 'stupid' earlier that day. The funeral home had the tombs on display on the front lawn, and the viewing was on Halloween. I joked that they should have had a zombie coming out of one, but my mom told me that was tacky. I still think it would have been funny.
