Hard to argue against that. They keep saying they have a movie going forward, but I'm just not buying it anymore. The sad part was they did assemble a very good book based on the franchise which is a pleasure to read but I question the choice of just doing one. I think they could sell a line up of them quite well and it's not the only they've done it with as God of War 1 and 2 have their own books too.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I like Uncharted a fair bit but at the end of the day they're the equivalent of those summer action flicks I see once and enjoy but don't remember and don't really care to go back to. In fact, I think Uncharted would make a better set of movies than games. The platforming is mindless and the shooting is incredibly stiff. They are quite pretty and 4 looks amazing in the way Uncharted games always have considering the home hardware.

Re: The PS4 thread
Like Tanooki and his love for Uncharted, I'll position my back against the wall and say that it's an incredibly well done game. Exosuits break a lot of the typical CoD multiplayer rules and a lot of the monotony of the past few installments.ninjainspandex wrote:Finally bought Advance Warfare now that it is sub $20, played through the single player. Was very impressed, I usually find Call of Duty campaigns pretty boring and stiff but the production value on AW was just off the charts, story was pretty predictable but well done. I do not regret my $18 purchase
It's definitely CoD to the core, but boosting and hunting for elites make it fresh enough to bring the series back into my near-daily rotation.
The multiplayer AI is even decent enough to put some legs on this one when humans stop occupying lobbies. Definitely worth the coin this far after the release IMO.
Now if BO3 isn't total crap, it should tide me over until Street Fighter V.

And regarding COD:AW, I like it too. It's the best COD game in a long time. And I'm not really a COD fan either.

TellTale games released Back to the Future for ps4 and xb1 for $20. I have it on the wii but I enjoy telltale games so I picked it up for the ps4

Hey! Me too!I pretty much put them in the same boat as all the other awesome stuff out there (Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty, etc.).

Re: The PS4 thread
My girlfriend bought herself a PS4 yesterday, as she's really keen to play Fallout 4 when it releases (she's not a big gamer, but Fallout 3 is her favourite game ever).
So I thought hey, cool, maybe I can pick up a game or two to play when she's not using it, I'm sure there's loads of great stuff out for a console as popular as PS4.
And don't get me wrong, there is, but jeez, none of it interests me. I've not known a console since the original XBox that felt like such a barren wasteland for games that I like!
Luckily they showed off stuff at E3 this year that does interest me. When it comes out in 2017 maybe I'll pick it up.
It's a weird experience knowing there's more that interests me on the new XBox than the new Playstation though, that's for sure.

Both the Xbone and the PS4 are pretty barren for me. I have one disk game each for them (and Ryse was more of me trying to justify the console purchase). There were a few games coming out of E3 that did interest me, though.

Must be your particular tastes, there's TONS of good stuff on PS4 lately. Until Dawn, Soma, Onechanbara Z2 Chaos, Disgaea 5, Original Sin Enhanced Edition, Tearaway Unfolded, Dust An Elysian Tail, Galak-Z: The Dimensional, Dragon Quest Heroes, Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess...well those last two I guess you can play on PS3 also. Most third party stuff I play on PS4 as they're usually better than the Xbox versions or have Playstation exclusive stuff

Re: The PS4 thread
If you play on everything, Wii U, PC, 3DS, PSV, PS4, XB1, those latter two have very little to offer.
