Trick or Treat, this old film from the '80s. I had it on my iPod from back when I watched films off my iPod (usually by outputting to TV, but that method's a bust right now).
Eddie Weinbauer is a typical All-American teenager, at least he was until he fell under the evil spell of Rock Music. Now he's obsessed with his heavy-metal superstar idol, Sammi Curr, who is killed in a hotel fire. Eddie becomes the recipient of the only copy of Curr's unreleased album, which when played backwards sends a message of destruction and as Halloween approaches, Eddie begins to realize this isn't only rock 'n roll... it's life and death and he must draw the line to thwart this mission.
Also, it's got Gene Simmons as a metal deejay AND Ozzy Osbourne, who ironically plays a preacher that HATES heavy metal!

Also, didn't watch Strangeland back on Friday, since I needed to wake up early. But I've got its other playtimes off of IFC's online schedule, along with a few other films (including some blaxploitation films).

this is pretty sad, but I watched Top Gun HD-DVD tonight - I'll admit it's super cheesy but the cinematography in the flying scenes is incredible...

Im gonna watch HD-DVD of Blade Runner Final Cut next, then Aviator HD-DVD

MAAAAAVVVRICKKK!!!!!!

uh...yeah. great sound track too.
haha

I just watched the new Coen bros flick: "Burn After Reading"
Overall i enjoyed it. It was funny and interesting. But when It was over it was just like...well...ok...that was cool....I think I'm going to get something to eat now. Didn't really have an impact as much as other Coen bros movies. I'd say go watch it....but don't expect anything amazing.

Saw "Strangeland" on IFC. Also wanted to see "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", but I need sleep for tomorrow.

Also, last night on IFC, they were playing "Coffy" and "Foxy Brown", but I tuned out after an hour of "Coffy". Not that I didn't like it, but I was just constantly distracted with things like a hunger pang (fixed fries and mozzarella sticks) and a combination of being tired and the incredibly cold temperature in the house.
