It's actually on several computers; 7800 is the only console port. I'm pretty sure it's of European origin.

Blockade Runner is one of those early "first-person shooters" where you pilot a spaceship. That's the Intellivision version, though I've never seen that cart shape before. It was also on the ColecoVision, MSX, and C64, but not the 2600.

With my bulk buying finished and my local Retro Game Convention over with as well, it is time to sparse out my game buying and only doing them one at a time. A method I very much prefer.

The first one on that list is Golden Sun for the GBA. Ever since I got the ability to play GBA games, Golden Sun has been one of the top games that I have wanted to pick up. First of all, I absolutely love Camelot Software especially their Shining Force titles on the Genesis and all of the Mario Sports titles as well. And there was something oddly enjoyable about Beyond The Beyond, even though it has its issues. So, I was very curious to try out Golden Sun, which is made by them and kind of a spiritual sequel to Beyond the Beyond. I have heard really good things about it, so I am excited to give it a try.

Always loved the massive password you could get at the end of Golden Sun for data transfer. A quaint feature of a bygone era.

I bought Batman: The Video Game for the GameBoy.

I watched somebody stream Batman for the Gameboy a while ago and it got me interested in the game. I absolutely adored the NES version and I actually enjoyed the Genesis version as well. I figured I might as well complete the collection and pick up the Gameboy version. I played a little when it arrived and it played pretty well, so I am very excited to give this one a shot.
