Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

oh we can even win, Colombia isn't playing well. But during that time between minutes 20-30 we had the ball and didn't know what to do with it. Finally we are starting to attack more seriously.

I wonder how much performance is affected by the continental shift (heh). I think Brazil's cities are nearer to sea-level than other South American countries?

Do you mean the jet lag? That's why teams usually go to the tournament early :P.

BTW I have to mention that the ref in this game is pretty good.

Well that and neither of the teams is playing at a level where tensions are flaring with one another. Everyone is playing pretty even-keel.

Brazil has no high altitude cities. Copa Libertadores and Copa America matches in the altitude are brutal.

If anything, Andian countries are at an advantage for cardio here.

Hey, the ref for the Colombia / Greece game was from the United States.

EDIT: JOEL CAMPBELL! Beautiful. Why was he left open in the box?!

Poor Greece. Hopefully they can snap back.

Uruguay and Costa Rica are fairly level in terms of talent. This is quite surprising to me.

I may not know much about soccer, but I think that bringing players from disparate teams into one (and in the case of European national teams, many of those players compete against each other for the monies in what can be described as soccer fruitsalad) and expect them to perform for their "national pride" to be a bit much. This also applies to Brazil, the last tournament they were absolute rubbish.
