Unfortunate weather has forced us to cancel the stream this week. I can still play online of course, but we will not be meeting at the venue to stream or chat about the games taking place this week.

Just got a PS3. Might catch up on fighters this gen, so you guys might have a new challenger around these parts.

Glad to hear it! Will you be the one to break the SF-centric trend to game nights so far? Only time will tell.

I recommend for a quick and easy venture back into the realm of 3D, people download Tekken Revolution on PSN, which is free. It has 'pay to play more' features but they can be ignored. The main reason I'd like people to try it, is that it is VERY 'new to tekken player' friendly. They have taken away a lot of advanced combo features (bounds), added in a handful of moves with critical hit/invincibility properties, an RPG leveling system with stats you can power up (power/endurance/vigor) and simplified a lot of general mindgames. The moves with new properties are listed next tot he character portrait on the selection screen, there is a training and arcade mode to hone your new found skills and you can play online vs others 5 times every 2.5 hrs ('tokens' regenerate every 30 mins to a max of 5). You can also pay to unlock additional characters or for more 'premium token packs'.

The online for it is good and it is a nice 'welcome back to tekken' game for players that haven't ever seriously played it or are returning from a long tekken hiatus.

Just putting it out there, i think it'd be interesting to see people learn it and watch them play on stream. I can refrain from playing unless called out

I haven't been practicing, but I'm up for Tekken Tag 2 or Tekken Revolution.

So I was thinking next week we shoot for Wednesday, January 8th at around 8:30pm EST.

Games on the table include- all forms of SF that are PSN playable and any Tekken (tag2 or rev). I did receive a pm about playing soulcalibur 5, but unless that person posts up as interested this week, I will not bother.

So please guys, if you are interested in making it on Wednesday night this coming week- please post up times you can make it and games you are interested in play (list any and all of them plzthx!), we need more than two players to make this interesting.

Any suggestions or alternatives you wanna lay on us, go for it, I am open to any ideas that will help get more activity now that the holidays are over.
