Something about 3d games on the ps1 always made me nauseous. I think it had to do with the fact that the walls and floors always seemed like they were moving and the camera was almost always horrible. The n64 just blows the ps1 away in the 3d department not to mention alot of ps1 games dont even support the analogue sticks.

Are you talking about that weird texture twitching things that the walls and stuff always did on Ps1 games? That stuff bugged the hell out of me too.

Yeah! I always wondered why it did that and if it had a name, it seemed to be unique to the ps1.

Texture warping was pretty common back then due to a lack of perspective correction and other things. It was less common on the Saturn, but it still has it (Sega Touring Car comes to mind).
