I had another 1/2 a dozen runs last night and stage 3-1 each time. Just eating me up. I've never enjoyed "continuing" or "save-stating", but I might have to for this stage, very frustrated right now.

Same here.

There's a practice mode, though. No real need to use a continue to practice the stage.

Gaw! I wish i'd read Joe's posts more thoroughly prior to playing this again tonight. Had no idea what the the dice boss was or meant.

Then I got to him and was completely baffled, got 30% of him gone and then couldn't sort it, started to spam-bomb him x3 and I looked up at his health and realized I did zero damage. Ended up timing out on him as well, so my boss score was almost nothing.

Died once on stage 3-2, those lazers through me a bit, but made the boss and died my last death w/about 10% boss health remaining. I think the 3-1 and 3-2 bosses are considerably easier than 2-2 boss, no?

Also, seeing 3-2 for the first time - I did zero grazing, just survival, only scored about 20 30 mil the entire stage :/

At any rate, I feel a great deal more encouraged now. Hit a billion and the 2nd extend.

You need to roll a character with higher shiki, them get a saving throw against bombs

With Kim2 I destroy all the reds on the right side first. His double swords reach high enough to get em all. After that all the white blocks will cancel out. Graze a bullet before they explode to get x8. After that I have no strategy. I just spray and spray.

my confusion is this - is there some order you must shoot the colors, or what?

Just focus one one color until you see gold, then start killing both colors.
