Dont be fooled.
This is an emulation platform from Blaze.
The carts are essentially SD cards.
The controllers are close remakes of AES originals, but are not the same.
SNK officially licensed out the rights, but that's where their involvement ends.
Do not anticipate any original content on this system.

It's a nice looking package overall. They priced it pretty reasonably, and the clicky joystick is really cool. We have no idea how the emulation quality will turn out.

Will it be collectible like most Neo items? Maybe. Might just be another handheld emulator.

I appreciate it, but as much as I like the guys on Neo-Geo, I trust you guys more.

Solid review - definitely answered questions I had. One thing I'd love to see is some wireless play between two handhelds, sadly it looks like it won't happen.

My preorder from Best Buy was cancelled because they didn't receive the expected amount of inventory (though they did make up for it by giving me $100 in store credit!). So I went over to Target's site, placed a preorder with them just a couple of days ago, and get this email: ITEM HAS SHIPPED, expected delivery 12/18

Can't wait :D
Official trailer for the console, woohoo (which is created by Aaron Nanto, who also did the amazing AES tribute video)

Anyone who preordered @Gamestop: Spoke to a register biscuit just now, he confirmed that they will be available tomorrow at opening. I called to see if they'd have a Midnight thing, and he said no, but that they would be available tomorrow.

I'm excited.
