UK gaming retailers report worst month in history. Only one million games sold throughout the country. Remember the days when people used to say videogames were a recession-proof industry?

Bullshit. I'm sure there were many months in the late 70s though the early 80s where less than 1 million games were sold. :P

Stupid hyperbolic article titles.

I'm sure you're correct, but when they say "history" it probably only means as far back as they've been making monthly sales reports.

History is still history whether it is recorded in a book or not. Now if they'd said 'recorded history' or 'since sales started being tracked', that would be different. Instead they went for the attention grabbing "OMG THE SKY IS FALLING" headline. :P

I'm sure that's journalists are trained to go for in college. Why make headlines that match the stories when you can make "oh no we're all gonna die" headlines that do a much better job of catching the eye?

Would it become "rare" maybe.
The article was written to ensure that? YES!

Wind Waker HD reduced the bloom effect (is still there but is not like watching directly to the freaking sun)... now people are complaining about this in the comments of the article...
If this wasn't LITERALLY anounced via a article people wouldn't even notice...

In the "nothing has changed" category of news, The Last Guardian is still in development. In fact, it's "under earnest development," Ico and Shadow of the Colossus creator Fumito Ueda told Famitsu. To help explain the game's constant absence from industry events, Ueda noted that SCE Japan Studio has other projects like Puppeteer and Knack that are "taking priority right now."

“Our games are not designed for young people,” Rockstar producer, writer, and GTA DJ Lazlow said in an interview with the BBC. “If you’re a parent and buy one of our games for your child you’re a terrible parent. We design games for adults because we’re adults.”
