I openly wept at the end of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue team when the protagonist told my partner that he has to return to the human world. That part still gets me.

Also in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time, when Grovyle sacrifices himself and the super sad music plays made me shed a tear. That song called "sacrifice" still gets me wet every time I listen to it.

I guess I have a soft spot for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Games for some reason.

I cried at the end of Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. The story is so good, the characters so engaging and the world so involving that I didn't want it to end. I felt like I was saying goodbye to old friends. It's one of the only games I could truly say was an unforgettable experience. Eternal Blue is good too, but it just didn't affect me the way the first game did.

I cried too.

When I saw the game's price tag.

Well, I was lucky enough to find it when it was first out. I saw the ads saying that it was going out of print and snapped it up as soon as I saw it. Amazingly, I found it at my local Wal-Mart which usually never had super-deluxe stuff like that (although they more commonly do now) and at the time, it wasn't priced any higher than any other game. Believe me, though, when I say that if you can afford what it goes for now, it is absolutely worth the money.

EDIT: Actually, checking Ebay just now, it doesn't seem to be too ridiculously overpriced, so if you can spare the cash, now might be a good time to go for it.

I don't remember tearing from a game. But I definitely remember feeling emotionally invested in games like Heavy rain, Max payne 3, and Assassin's creed.

Some of you have said the FFX ending is nothing but tear-jerking, but the other video game ending that made me depressed was Taiyo High School team's ending in Project Justice.

In this ending, Kyosuke eventually killed his younger brother, Hyo, after he got possessed by his father. As he found out that he has died, he was absent for a long period of time, with no words from him at all.

Ironically, this happened in a fighting game, since the genre is not famous for its storyline. To those who haven't played this game, you should due to its storyline.

Moreover, the ending in Megaman Zero 4 was nothing short of depressing; Zero has finally met his real demise after his last battle with Dr. Weil, while Ciel cries for Zero to return.

Cried when I played Mega Man X for the first time (Around the age of 5), I Managed to get through the levels without issues. As soon as I stepped passed the shutter doors into the robots lair....IT ALL WENT DOWN HILL. I could never beat them and it would frustrate me to no end. especially when I found out you would inherit they're powers(and get rendered different colors)

NO MERCY!
