Frag Mortuus wrote:My desk is about 5 years old. It started out as one of those cheap walmart brand tower desks that are about 6 feet tall. Over time I have completely gutted the thing. It no longer has the tall part with shelves above the desktop. It also had a shelf at the bottom where your feet go, which I suppose was to house the PC. It is literally just the desktop and 4 legs now. Also, the desktop is worn out and veneer is coming off along the front lip.
This is hilarious considering that I have a $500 32" Sony 1080p HDTV for a monitor, $120 mouse, and a PC that I have at least $2000 invested in. You would assume one would invest at least $200 on a desk. Yet, I've spent $50.....5 years ago.
I will post a picture when I get home.....I have built this up too much.

I know the quality sucks, but you can see how shitty the desk is. This thread has inspired me to build a new desk. I have the plans I just needed the initiative. So thanks for that!

I'm putting one of these on my Amazon (xmas) Wishlist...

Actually I meant F310, which is the one I have:
Though I far prefer my 360 pad.

b, b, but it has a place to hold my cup!
(plus it's a lot wider than my current desk, and I like the off-surface mounts for speakers, controllers, etc.)
((plus it's cheap))

Thats actually not a bad idea. I have been trying to find some computer training tables locally, but the Galant is similar and readily available.isiolia wrote:Doesn't look that big. Just go buy a Galant from Ikea for $150, much bigger![]()

A door on cider blocks can make a great desk. Tons of space and very portable.
