Sorry for the late reply. I meant I could get the game for much cheaper at my local store. Lower price and no shipping cost.
Level 4, 59,000. Genesis version. Going to try again.

Re: Together Retro: Zoop
I just gave the Game Gear and Game Boy versions a go. While neither is near as good as the PS1 version, neither is unplayable by any stretch. I actually kind of like the Game Gear version, and the GB one is about as good as it can be given the lack of color. The scoring on both is lower, however. When you clear a horizontal line, for instance, you only get 500 points (you get 10K on the PS1 version). Can anyone else explain scoring differences across some of the other ports?

SNES: 162300
I don't know how to pinpoint it, but the SNES version feels harder. It probably spawns slightly faster. It still gives 10k for horizontal clears and 5k for horizontal clears.
Ivo.

So far I tried the PS1, SNES, and the Genesis ports. Scoring was the same. 5k vertical clears, and 10k horizontal clears. Only difference I noticed is the music, and graphics.
I like the PS1 port cause it looks better. (running it through my PS2 with component cables)

I've got it a little harder than the rest of you guys. I'm playing it on my Gopher with TV out. Reason why I say harder is because the dpad is a nubby little piece of crap. XD

Re: Together Retro: Zoop
I think I've been playing too much of this!
I'm being entirely serious here: I noticed today, more than an hour after I played last, that when I close my eyes I can "see" a static image of the grid with rows of pieces... It was clear enough to notice a large horizontal row of purples on the top left side, for example. It has been fading now that more time has passed.
I wonder if I've been also "playing" Zoop while dreaming!

Not my favorite puzzle game, but still fun.
