Been on a real Concerto Moon kick, listening to the Gate of Triumph album like there's no tomorrow. Check em out if you're into neo-classical, 90s power metal, or Japanese metal.

I've been a metal head for many years now and I still refuse to cut my hair! These past few years, I've been playing bass in my band "GRYZOR" and have been partying with all the local bands in the dive circuit. You can give us a listen at www.gryzormetal.com or check almost any social network out there for us.

Also FEAR FACTORY, MESHUGGAH, ARCH ENEMY, MEGADETH FTW!

Ah! I play bass as well - however I'm not currently in a band. Not enough people in my area are into the same type of music I am unfortunately. Mostly these generic indie/folk/screamcore bands or whatever they call themselves these days. They're all groan inducing to me.

Where YOU from man? My band is in need of a bass player... singer too, but bass player first. We don't play generic anything, far as we can tell anyway.

I'm currently living in Pittsburgh for College bro, and I'm I'll be heading back to Eastern PA this summer. Dunno if that's close enough for you, but best of luck finding a bassist regardless!

Thanks tons! We're a Minneapolis based thrash band that has been tearing it up for over two years now.

Never give up this fight! Find other equally minded and talented people and form a band! You never know where you can go and what you stir up in the local scenes!

Iced Earth - Dracula from The Horror Show album. Incredible song, one of Iced Earth's greatest.

Oops, this was supposed to be in the now listening to thread. Moving it over, sorry.

I think Satan's Host upcomming album is one of my biggest anticipations so far this year. Dunno if there's any fans here, but Harry Conklin's one of my favorite vocalists, he started the band in the 80's and did one real album and now he's back. When he left they went full on death metal for a bit there, but Conklin's more of a melodic/shrieker and whatnot, and now I don't even know how to describe their sound but it's badass.

More classic Conklin awesomeness:
(one of my all time favorite albums. Honestly not a huge fan of modern Jag Panzer though)
(@ 2:58, holy fuck I love it)

Don't know if there are any The Sword fans on here but this is one my favorite tracks of their latest album. It has such an awesome retro metal sound and it's just a kickass track to play whilst driving around: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E39p-0l11Kc
