What "Great" game did you end up hating?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Wow, that's the first time I've ever heard someone say they hated that one. Reasons?

Resident Evil 4 is anything but boring! That game is intense! No other game gives me a feeling of adrenaline like RE4. The other night after I finished playing I had big sweat patches under my arms from just how on edge I was the whole time (no, I don't just have a perspiration problem!)

Modern Warfare II, Killzone 2, and Burnout Paradise.

Halo goes without saying, I'd rather play its superior ancestor, Unreal Tournament.

Super Mario Sunshine. The camera in that game drove me absolutely crazy. Super Mario 64 & Ocarina of Time, while being great games, also drive me crazy but SMS was the worst. I just gave up after awhile and never revisited it. My cousin loves it but to me it's just annoying.

How can anyone hate A Link to the Past? Other than the Ages/Seasons and Minish Cap Capcom gems that is the best Zelda ever.

I haven't actually played Minish Cap yet, but I'm pretty amazed to see someone claiming the Oracle games as better than A Link to the Past.

I can't think of any "great" games I've hated. I will say that I was disappointed with Mischief Makers. I had fun with it and beat it, but overall I didn't find the grab-and-shake mechanic particularly engrossing. Also, I was kind of expecting more graphically. Some of the boss battles were impressive, but I just didn't have that much fun with them.

Resident Evil 4 was fun, I guess - but it didn't give me any sort of feeling of adrenaline.

If anything, it was a "Shooting Fish In A Barrel" simulator. Leon is armed to the f'en teeth. I had absolutely nothing to be afraid of. Every time I did get killed, it felt more like I made a stupid mistake rather than feeling like I had been defeated.

I wouldn't quite say they're better than ALtoP since I don't know which game I like best. Those 4 are certainly the best to me.

Why doesn't Capcom just make a console? They're usually the second best publisher on every console anyway.

I hate SF2 with a passion its not the graphics its not the controls I just cant play it. I think SF3 set the bar for me and going from a complex fighter like SF3 to one thats a little more tame just throws me off. That and I hate SF2 characters except for a few.

I agree, I just can't stand the cheese factor of the game while being too simple.. I totally respect the influence that it brought upon on the fighting game genre, but I grew up playing Street Fighter during the Alpha and III era, and I thank god I didn't start with Street Fighter I or II... Not to mention I think the character design, presentation and music is much better in the later series..
