hi guys, im new here and im from the UK. currently have loads of seriously rare stuff from one of my old shops that id like to ebay, but before i do can some of you give me estimated values (pref in gbp but dollars is cool!) on the folowing:

new and sealed gamecube (japanese import with the smaller carboard boxes)
Luigi mansion
capcom vs snk2
super monkey ball
wave race blue storm

Brand new but not sealed (no signs of evening opening box)
Jap import gameboy colour Pokemon Pocketmonsters Crystal

brand new, sealed but with slight surface crack in top middle of case

i got so much more titles but i dont want to hijack the thread lol, if some of you could possibly provide an estimated price on each id greatly appriciate it!

Even though no one is going to answer my post, since rarely anyone answers post in this thread, I am writing anyways with hope some one glances upon this.

I saw a Altered Beast arcade cabinet for $250. So is that a good price and should I get it? What should I look for when buying a cab? Everything seemed to work fine but I am no expert.

I have a little bit of experience in arcades, mainly browsing unfortunately but never the less.

My personal opinion is if you really like the game then just buy the arcade for whatever you think is reasonable for your budget. I would stick to a couple hundred bucks unless it is a special cabinet like the 6 player Xmen one, or a more complicated one like a DDR style or shooting arcade. I would have someone with electrical knowledge check it out before you buy it unless its cheap enough that it won't matter. My uncle has like 40 years of electrical experience so I generally get his advice on anything of that sort.

Personally I don't like Altered Beast that much so I wouldn't get that cabinet but knock yourself out if you really like the game.

Keep in mind that arcades are a lot easier to maintain and repair as opposed to pinball machines so you can easily pay over a grand for a decent pinball machine, while if you get lucky you can score a sweet arcade for a couple hundred bucks.

I usually use http://www.kijiji.ca to check out arcades in my city but I have seen a couple people try to pass of crappy home made arcades as legit authentic ones and they over charge way too much. If its a dedicated cabinet and you can spare the cash then I say go for it. Obviously owning an arcade isn't the best financial decision when it comes to owning a game but anyone whose ever played or owned an arcade knows that Roms and ports don't even come close to the authentic arcade experience.

You can make your own arcade for fairly cheap since there really isn't that much to them. When I was younger I assumed that since arcades are so huge that there would be a lot of electrical components to them but they're actually pretty basic and cheap to make a crappy homemade version.

There are also websites where you can buy duplicate side art, button art and marquee but getting all the right sizes and everything is really a pain in the ass. So if you're OCD like myself and really want a complete arcade I would say its well worth the money to get a complete dedicated package.

I found this Final Fantasy XII strategy guide by Brady Games. It's a NOT FOR RESALE copy, it has no ISBN # and even more weird -- I cannot find a single instance of it anywhere on the internet. I can't find a picture of it anywhere. I can't find this copy on ebay. Nothing. It's in Very Good shape... anyone have an idea what it's worth?

Ok found this on craigslist and it's about 10 minutes from my house. I'm going to inspect condition first hand tomorrow. Wanted to try and get feedback here first. It's been up on Craigslist for a few weeks and I contacted the Owner who said he hasn't had interest yet besides me. I'd probably offer less then what he's asking due to monitor, etc. Please let me know what you think - any feedback would help. Below is the ad:

6-slot NEO GEO arcade machine with 11 game cartridges included.
Details: Yes the machine works, you can visit in person and play any of the games listed to ensure they work. However the machine does has some things that will require attention to consider it fully working and restored. The monitor seems to be getting weak. It works and all the colors are there, but time has taken toll, a new monitor would make this game beautiful. The PCB is not currently mounted, fixed with some screws and about 15 minutes.
I do have an extra PCB set that will be included, while I believe it should work, just consider it as non-working for parts. The cabinet is very solid with no damage other that the various scratches and scrapes from moving a beast like this. You will need a truck and at least 2 people to move this game.
