What games would y'all recommend if I'm not exactly bowled over by it already?

Neo Geo stuff is like that. If you're not huge into fighters, the pickings get slim quick. If you want something different, try Cardfighters Clash and Neo Turf Masters.

Nah I didn't mean I wasn't into Neo Geo games; I love the Neo. I just was kinda expecting more from the hype is all and so far, SamSho2 on it isn't as good as the "full" version for me.

Shiny! But my curiosity won't be sated until I know what the US manual looks like.

Well Here's a pic of the manual. Hope you find your copy as well soon...

This. Every NGPC owner should own MotM; it is the greatest portable fighting game ever made, and maybe even one of the best fighting games ever made, period, depending on your tastes.

It really is the best ever, and not just because it offered mini-games for players on the go. The hybrid fighting engine are actually three separate entities: SNK gave players a choice between the KoF-configuration, the SFZ/SFA-style, or go nuts using the Marvel-VS engine (to an extent). Really unsure why SNK didn't use this for their console version of SvC (Chaos). Capcom sort of went that route with Grooves on their console releases (CvS), but didn't include the tag-feature (and was slightly "off" on what certain grooves could do).

NTM is really addictive, but while the pickings are slim they are excellent.

Yea, I just found out my local retro shop is starting to carry NGP games. But the prices are little over the top, $20 for Dark Arms (loose cart).

I got really lucky on ebay. I picked up Gals, Dive Alert, Pac-Man, Bust a Move Pocket, SNK vs. Capcom for $60. Fair price considering all titles were complete in box with manuals (even Pac-Man came with the rubberized joystick restrictor that makes the game more accessible to play). I was quite happy with my purchase!

Affirmative! It looks like a simple little red rubber band that wraps itself around the Joystick area. Drastically improves handling of the game... Love Pac-man on the NGPC SO much more as a result!!! pic!? Sure! :D i took the best picture i could for such a small item...
