A nice person I know gave me a gift certificate to my favorite thrift store chain, so the following neat things were snagged for free :D

Super Smash Bros. Melee Smashing...Live! Live Orchestra Music
Legend of Legaia (Complete)

I guess the CD came free with an issue of Nintendo Power? Pretty neat. I almost missed it because it was hiding behind some stuff, but I'm glad I found it. You can listen to the playlist on Youtube, if you'd like.

The Legend of Lagaia disk is a lightly scratched, but it started up okay, so I hope it'll be fine.

Then I found this:

I never even knew this existed. It looks like it's horrible, but it was essentially free, so I picked it up. It'll be part of my bizarre gaming memorabilia collection

I loved the DKC show, but yeah it's probably one of those things definitely best left in the past, never to be revisited... haha. I'm pretty sure they sang tons of songs.

Smashing Live is great! Bought one off here earlier this year. Now I just need to track down the Japanese release that actually has a proper case.

Did a little thrift store hunting today. I haven't found much of anything since stumbling on a top loading NES for $5 about a month ago. Today's pick-ups were pretty decent though. The main thrift store I go to has been bone dry lately and they seem to be over pricing now. On a whim, I went to the one that is usually bare simply because it was about a block away...this is what I picked up:

Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition Promo Disk (GC) - $0.99; Complete
(LoZ 1, II, Ocarina of time, & Majora's Mask)
Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time & Master Quest (GC)- $3.99; No manual, not original art work
La Pucelle Tactics (PS2)- $2.99; Complete (also had Xbox Jedi Outcast manual in case)
NBA 2K6 (PS2)- $0.99; Complete
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition (Xbox)- $3.99; missing manual but has map
Thief: Deadly Shadows (Xbox)- $3.99; Complete
King's Field: The Ancient City (PS2)- $3.99; Complete
Ico (PS2)- $3.99; Complete (black label version)
Resident Evil (GC)- $3.99; Missing manual, disks kinda rough
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PS1)- $1.99; Complete, some water damage to manual cover

All of the disks except for Resident Evil (GC) are in very good to pristine condition.

I already have both of the RE games but I figured I could use them for trade bait in the future since they can be tough to find for cheap. I was really excited to find the Zelda games because I passed on them years back and have been kicking myself for it. I was never much of a Zelda guy but I really wanted to try the N64 games, preferably the GC versions. I was also stoked about finding Ico, as I have been trying to find that on the cheap for a number of years now. I bought NBA 2K6 just because...I have it on 360 and would like to see the comparison. All in all a good day, I'd say.

Main Collection: http://connect.collectorz.com/users/ynj ... collection - Not looking to move anything on this list but would entertain offers.

I looked at my best buy reward zone account and realized that I had $115 dollars in reward zone points last week. So I bought the red 3Ds with Super Mario 3D Land built in. It cost me a little over fifteen dollars in the end.

Oh yeah, and my girlfriend got me Secret of Evermore and Castlevania 3, bot CIB.
