What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Disaster porn and too little cgi?

Not enough eye lasers and neck snappings.

Enders Game

A typical Scifi book to movie conversion. Take lots of the great elements of the book and truncate or remove, then make major changes to the characters/story/atmosphere. It was not as bad as I thought it would be, but it was very rushed. It needed more time to focus on the battle school and command school and why the games are important. Though I will say I liked the changes to Col. Dap. I thought he was better as a hardass than a kind character. Ill buy it down the line in the sub $10 price, but for now it was fun for a borrow.

Also, is it just me of does it seem like Gregg Araki would be the BEST choice, aside from myself, to direct an American live-action adaptation of Shin Megami Tensei or one of its spinoffs?

I do not approve of the design of the turtles.

Clearly diverging from the designs set forth in the Coming Out of Their Shells tour.

Reminded me that I needed to check out the new Godzilla trailer.

Looks like it could be pretty awesome. Hopefully they don't fudge it up.

Mikey looks like a ten foot tall, green, Big Baby Davis.

I don't approve of the trailer starting off with another building collapse, but what can you do? I do approve how they took the two worse things about Amazing Spider-Man and Dark Knight Rises, mystery Dad and a villain who hates crime, and threw those in there for some reason.
