STORY TELLING WITH TORI SPELLING (2012)

This Lifetime original is a lot more fun to say than it is to watch. Plus, at just around eighty minutes it feels more like watching the entire LOTR trilogy. In short, Story Telling with Tori Spelling is like any other "Parent reads kids stories to a kid before bedtime movie". It certainly doesn't have the hilariousness of THE PRINCESS BRIDE or the wacky charm of MERLIN'S SHOP OF WONDERS, but it does feature Tori's daughter, Hattie.

This is a chain wreck of a Hollywood child endorsement movie that is even worse than the Jaden Smith movies. However, as with the Jaden Smith movies, you don't like the kid, at all. These kids ham it up more than an Easter dinner, and there is no endearing quality to them. They act like who they are, pompous, talentless, stuck up nits.

So as soon as Tori Spelling starts Story Telling, Hattie imagines herself as the lead character, as we are swept into her own little dream world. And her dream world blows.

We get the usual stories, ripped off from Disney who ripped it off of someone else. Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and even some Grimm's Bros. stories, all falling flat because the heroine is a stupid child. A terrible, horrible child. If I had to equate her "acting abilities" to a web browser, she would be the Netscape of child actors.

And here is the real kicker: I actually usually ADORE lifetime movies for their awfulness, They are the 3 NINJAS KICK BACK of female entertainment, GOOD BURGER for grown women. But Story Telling with Tori Spelling is simply a miserable waste of film. There's not one moment where everything is so bad that it is good, it's all simply so bad that it is bad. Pledges should have to watch it during hell week bad.

I'm pretty sure it does  , and most actors have every TV episode, short, guest/uncredited appearance and made for tv movie listed under their "filmography". But I appreciate the attempt to convince me otherwise :P

Saw Muppets Most Wanted over the weekend. I think it can be best summed up by the lyrics of the opening song:

We're doing a sequel
that's what we do in Hollywood
And everybody knows that the sequel's never quite as good

That said, it was still a fun movie; if you like the Muppets then you should see this one. Plus, Danny Trejo has a pretty awesome minor role in the film that I won't spoil.

Lisa Eilbacher reminds me a lot of Jennifer Lawrence. Especially in her eyes and attitude.

Just wanted to put that out there.

Blink is in Days of Future Past because it looks like they're going to merge it with Age of Apocalypse. 2016, X-Men Apocalypse is already slated to come out. I imagine between Days and X-Force it's going to set that storyline up.

The real question is why did they shoehorn Quicksilver in when they were originally going to use The Juggernaut?
