I wonder about things like that too. And then I realize that people remember me for being red-headed.BogusMeatFactory wrote:It is very humbling to know that I was remembered by anyone. I am curious to know what kind of impression I made on him.

That show should have survived much longer than it did. Guess they ran out of things to do, places to visit, and challenges to undertake.BogusMeatFactory wrote:Well the original is from a show "I survived a Japanese Game Show." It was Judge Bob-u.

Now it is Detective YooHoo from the great FMV game, Crime Patrol! It's from the level in the strip club.....such a great game.

I am ashamed to admit. I have never played a Tex Murphy game. It is on my list of things to do which, after seeing those trailers am going to start THIS VERY MOMENT! Holy crap I am excited! This is better than DarkStar! FMV games are coming back yo!Stark wrote: OMG...have you seen the trailer for the new Tex Murphy game? Go now.

Under a Killing Moon was the best IIRC. Been a long while though.BogusMeatFactory wrote:I am ashamed to admit. I have never played a Tex Murphy game. Smile:
Asked my cousin "Dude, please do not take this as an insult, but would you rather have my wife and I show up to your wedding or $700 (part of our travel expenses).
He responded, "You and your wife. Don't even worry about a gift".
That made me tear up a bit. That is is family. That is a friend. That is love. Good on him.
Boner Bonus Smile: Purchased a piano and it will be shipped in a few weeks, and tuned on site. It's not a Steinway, but I don't have $80K to spend on a piano at this time.
But I'm still psyched out of my mind. I've been playing on my old Yamaha DJX for over a decade, and now I'll have something that requires a bench. And since I've been composing lately (which I'm mediocre at best at) I can't say how happy I am with getting back with tickling actual ivory and not a plastic board.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Almost finished up most of my projects I started last weekend. Have a busy weekend, so crammed a lot into tonight...I rushed the cab to get it done. It still needs some finish, trim work, and decals.
Custom bedroom shelf for PC/360/PS3/Router/Printer got stained and first coat of Tung oil:
My wife loves Mission Style furniture and I bought a book on Mission furniture when we remodeled our basement. This is the 5th door like this i've built - only 3 more to go and all the interior doors will be this mission style. Pro-tip, these can be built for about $50, or you can buy them for $125 - only takes about an hour to cut and then an hour a day for 3 days to finish and cut out your hinges and door knob.
This summer I threw together an archery target for my daughter who took up archery - it's a bit of a monstrosity, so I wanted to make it dual purpose. For the cost of a treated 2x4x10 ($4), a 4x4 sheet of treated ply ($20) and some old coffee cans and ice cream buckets, I added on a bean bag toss. It's on wheels and is all treated materials, so will store behind the garage for the winter w/no problems.

Smile: Getting ready to meet Dish, and watching Married With Children while doing so.
Frown: Not too much sleep for this guy. My dog has been bonkers lately. She's on steroids for her cancer, so all in all I don't mind.
