I saw Smokey and the Bandit a few days ago. It was pretty good, although it was pretty obvious that it was a 70's movie.

I think you are thinking of Repo The Genetic Opera, Repo Man is a movie with Emilio Estevez...miked wrote:OK I just remembered that I watched The REPO Man the other night. I am guessing the forum member of the same name got his name from this?
Anyway, WOW. While I did love this movie, it dragged on from time to time. I hated the repo mans daughter with a passion, as she was basically your typical pop princess type singer. Overall I loved the whole idea and the music. Even if you don't like operas/musicals you need to watch this at least once. Its hard to describe so just watch it. NOW!!!
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Just watched Public enemies. Was entertaining. Wish they had stuck a little closer to the true story. I can understand adding little cinematic tweaks to make it more interesting, but they moved around a lot of peoples deaths and stuff.
But ignoring the true story aspect of it, it was an entertaining movie.

We had a double feature of Yes Man and 17 Again this last weekend.
Yes Man was a surprise! The Wife chose this one and I though it would be another bad knock off of Liar Liar, but it wasn't bad at all. Definitely a decent family movie with a bunch of laughs.
17 Again was actually pretty good. My 12 yr old Daughter chose that one for Zack Efron and I figured it would be a rehash of Freaky Friday or something, but it's actually more like Big. Definitely better than I thought it would be.
I should be getting Inglourious Bastards in the mail today on Blu Ray so I am looking forward to watching that one. I heard it was really good.

Watched THE DARK KNIGHT again last night. I think a decade from now it will still be a great movie. Spider-Man on the other hand looks like garbage now.

I watched the Toxic Avenger last night, amazing. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you owe it to yourself to watch it.

You guys are both wrong. The only Repo man that matters is Repo Jake.
