How so? V-V is absolutely prettier, and imo has much better music, and a variety of ways to tackle the game that don't require you to have a specific weapon to get an extend.
I love both, but I'd be interested to read a slightly more detailed explaination as to why you think Truxton is better?

Its funny, I am apparently the only person here that really enjoys this game, and yet I have no fucking way to play it.
I found out that ebay decided to use my old address instead of my new one, and my charger has been sitting at the old house for 3 days.
The people that moved in there will not answer their door or call me back when I left them a note. So, gonna have to order another fucking charger, and will probably miss out on what will likely be my favorite game from this STGT.
And then I have to watch you all bitch!![]()
This game is no worse than Raiden II or Truxton, and Gradius III is way harder than this game imo.
Sadly, I have nothing to contribute other than whinign that I can't play.
Hey, I like this one.
It's a tough bastard; but what fun is just coasting through a game effortlessly? The only thing I find disconcerting is the checkpoints. Other than that, I think it's pretty solid, and I'm glad to play something I've never even heard of until now.
The power-up bar is a neat feature, and the enemies actually are somewhat persistent.
In some games, they fire some shots, then coast by, almost as if to say "Meh, I tried" In this one, they'll come back around like "Get that sonuvabitch!"
IDK, I'm just glad to be a part of it.

Truxton II? Hell yes. Bring THAT on! We should have been playing that. That Stage 1 music is super sweet.dunpeal2064 wrote:You guys would LOVE Tatsujin Oh!

I appreciate V-5 for the fact that Toaplan made a lot of great games in their lifespan.
Too bad they didn't suggest Hell Fire either now. I know it's hori but still another neat gem by them.
This too. I saw that at the beginning of the year and I'm thinking "great, some elite members only best players in the world thing" then I read it and it said anyone could play, I was in. Glad I got onto a team with RB members too. May not be doing so great, but if my score can be Top 3 I'll be proud of that fact. I see the potential for doing much better here, moreso than Strikers even.foxhound1022 wrote:IDK, I'm just glad to be a part of it.

Awesome, dood. Keep pluggin' away. I've noticed there isn't much variance as to where the enemies appear, so I'm having good success with memorizing their areas of entry and blasting them before they can get shots off, lessening the amount of flak to dodge.
