I wouldn't mind having them too.

Went back to get the Zelda Skyward Sword games at Sears. They had only one left. :(

But with my workers discount it ended up being $8.97.

so....i see there have been multiple finds threads opened since my last visit to the forums....im not sure where exactly this would fit in but i an especially proud of it. if it should be moved else where then feel free to do so.

i have obtained (or at least what the paper i got with it says) an arcade cabinet that has gaplus (AKA galaga 3 with an expansion/add on card according to my research) the cab is not the one the board belongs in (a conversion or transplant? im unfamiliar with arcade cab games) because it looks nothing like the images of the cab i have seen.

I obtained this cabinet for amere hour of work on a defunct laptop/network. the people i received it from found it to be an eye sore. i myself being an avid game player have always wanted an arcade cabinet at some point in my life either for a conversion into a MAME machine or just to own, if i found one functional or easily fix'd.

so my primary question....who the heck has a working knowledge on arcade cabinets?

the machine does not even power on when plugged in and this is COMPLETELY different than console land i dont even know where to begin trouble shooting it.

any ways here is an image of the cabinet i got as i myself am particularly excited about owning it

^That controller panel looks like it's from a Neo Geo arcade cabinet.

How much you get this for?

And man, I so jealous, I really want an arcade cabinet like this. (even if broken, I'll fix it or MAME it) The ones I find are either too far to get or way overpriced. (However, I may cave in and just pay more for a Pacman Arcade Cabinet)

Get a multimeter. Here is an example of one:

Try testing the game board and see if it gets power, and work your way up right to the actual power supply unit in order to determine where the problem is. Very possibly, the power supply unit might be toast and you'll just have to replace it. You won't know until you isolate where there is no power closest to the source, though.

You did look inside the machine and turn on the power on the PSU inside the machine, right?
