Hi:
Well, I'm from Mexico, I'm 17 years old, I consider myself a game and film collector and I joined RacketBoy because I wanted to join a serious and mature forums, plus, it haves all the info I need about retro games.
My game collection is on my sig if you want to see my game collection.

I guess I'm new, known of the site for like a month but just started using the forum recently. I'm a big fan of Sega and SNK, although I like Sony third most growing up with my first console as a Genesis 2 and then later getting a PS2. The first game I played was sonic 2 and I played a lot of battlefront 2 growing up after our genesis broke. I was born 7/7/97 and the video games I own are:
Genesis - 200+ games
Sega CD Model 1 - Around 7 games
Dreamcast - Around 30 games
PSP - Around 20 games
Toaster NES - About 15 games
DS Lite - Around 30 games
N64 - Around 10 games
Vectrex - Star Castle and Berzerk
Zaxxon Tabletop thing (It's weird it's like a canadian one so it has english and french labels)
Sega Nomad
FC Mobile II
Neo Geo Pocket Color - 10 games
Well, most people are gonna tldr that, but its cool whatever, I also like to make some chiptunes sometimes
http://www.youtube.com/user/HarrisonMonroeOh yeah PC game wise I enjoy all valve titles, I like Codename Eagle and id software is awesome.

Welcome! Unless I'm being retarded, then I'd like to say it's not often that people around here are younger than I am, as young, sure, but not really younger. I too really like Sega, I sadly don't have of their consoles right now though, Nintendo is what keeps me gaming more than anything. Overall though you have way more games than I!

Well pretty mature about things around here, and a tad too serious for my taste, doesn't mean people around here don't goof off though. Enjoy your stay!

Hello people of Racketboy. I suppose since I am new and this is an introduction thread I might as well introduce myself, or something.
My name is Brian and I am 21 years old. I have been lurking in the shadows of these foums for about 6 months now but I found Racketboy 2 years ago thanks to the guides.
I have been playing video games ever since I was little. The first game I ever remember playing is Super Mario 2. I have had many consoles and other gaming devices since then (including a Virtual Boy) but I found as each new piece of hardware came out the older stuff would get neglected, and sometimes were eventually sold, lost or stolen. It wasn't until this generation that I realized there are many older games that I never got to play (or at least play through), so that's what brought me to this site. The guides have helped me find games that I had forgotten about as well as ones that I would have never thought to try or had never even heard of.
Yeah, there you go.

Hey guys.
I've been here for a little while, but haven't posted much. I've been gaming since my parents bought me a Super Nintendo for my birthday. I remember my dad hooking it up for me for the first time, but I don't remember what age I was. I still have my very first cartridge (Donkey Kong Country).
Now I'm a 19 year old college student and wannabe collector who is limited by his tiny budget and bad selection of pawn shops (the only one I could find that carried retro games only had sports games and an NES they said wasn't for sale, looks like someone already cleaned them out).
I live in Kentucky and play both modern games and old, though outside of the summer I have nearly no time to play at all. My college had a pretty draconian workload, but let's not talk about that

Welcome! DK Country is a good game to get in on, one of my favorites. I still remember getting the preview VHS in the mail for that game. Got me so pumped.

Hello there, I am new.

Lately I've been rediscovering my Game Boy Pocket/Color handhelds. In fact when I pulled out the Pocket from storage it had Pokemon stickers ALL OVER it from my childhood (including on the inside of the battery cover heh) and it took me almost two hours to clean them off. But now it looks great! XD
So anyhow, I've been looking to rebuild my game library and I stumbled upon this place for reviews. This site is fantastic! Very nice articles and information here. I think I'll have a good time here. I probably won't post much initially, but I hope to soon!
