Today I was finding deals almost everywhere I went.

First I found a CL ad where the seller was getting rid of '6 complete NES games.' The price was $30. I found a copy of Discworld for $5 at a thrift store and snagged it as fast as I could. Timesplitters was $1.50, and finally, A Clash of Kings was $0.90. Total cost, $37.40.

Only 5 of those NES games were complete, this is what I found inside the Gradius box.

Still looks like a nice clean Gradius box that is easy enough to fill. Gyruss is fun too and it was still a good deal.

I was pretty surprised at the condition overall. I needed a Dragon Warrior manual, now I just need the box and Explorer's Handbook. Somebody on another forum said if they had an extra copy of Gradius he'd just send it to me, then I would just need a manual which will be easy enough to find.

I'm digging those Western RPGs, SirPsycho.

As for the GameCube component cables, I understand they're a cool item because of rarity... but is there any reason to use them when you can just use component cables on a Wii?

I kinda thought of dat... so is that mostly in regards to GBA games? I can't imagine that Super Mario Land looks that much better in component.

....$5 composite cables is pretty normal. I've got a ton of gamecube composite cables in a tub here.

I think you're confusing them with component cables.
I did sorry about that i was rushing to post because my boss was passing by.

Nice Find! Is it the official Nintendo Brand? Post a pic of your prize!

To renew the frenzied rush, always good to continually look at the Gamestop peg hooks. I bought a $4.99 Gamecube Component Cable there, a rare chance find with its own unique SKU.

I found some decent things this past weekend.

Went to our local Salvation Army, and they had a huge bin of CDs. Right on the top was NBA 2K for Dreamcast--disc only. I passed that up, saw a ton of Fallout 1 & 2 complete copies, several copies of Starcraft and Brood War, and some various silly Playstation Games (Bratz, Shrek, etc). Found Asteroids for Playstation, but someone had boosted he disc. Eventually, after digging about a foot down in the bin and spending 30 minutes searching, I found:

Image
Namco Museum Vol 3 - PlayStation, CIB
Metal Gear Solid VR Missions - PlayStation, CIB
Offspring - Smash
Cake - Fashion Nugget

All these were only $2.00 each. Snagged em!

Then I went to Gamestop during their Black Friday Buy 2 Get 1 Free Sale. Snagged the following:

Image
Deus Ex - Xbox 360, Complete.
Vanquish - Xbox 360, Complete.
Mad World - Wii, Complete.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - Wii, Complete.
Xenosaga Chronicles - Wii, Missing Manual.
Wii Classic Controller Pro
Wii Component Cables

Unfortunately, my math was bad, and I had 7 items. So, I paid 2.99 for Mad World. Oops. Overall, I spent like $85 for it all.
