So jealous. I'd love to get my hands on some of that stuff. You'll have to let me know how the 3D glasses are! Galaxy Force, Shinobi and Psycho Fox are games I've been meaning to get for some time too. I'd also quite like to get the light gun sometime. Are you planning to sell any of these?

There's a few I've not heard of there too, such as Dead Angle.

I got my master system bundle a few years back, I got a great deal on that too. £20 for my SMS and 10 games including mostly good stuff like Fantasy Zone and Phantasy Star.
The Master System is probably the console I most want to finish getting all the 'good' games for, alongside the Nintendo 64. Certainly the cheaper of the two to do that for, although a few things will set me back a pretty penny I reckon.

They are cool and fun to fool around with, but not really worth paying that much for in my opinion. The effect works, but doesn't really add much of anything to game play.

I found a set for $5 last year in box and sold them, if that means anything.

Not to derail... but can you play 3-D Master System games without the glasses? Or use regular 3D glasses (the paper ones)? I picked up Maze Hunter 3-D for a couple bucks yesterday.

I also found a complete copy of Phantasy Star for $20. I know that's not the most amazing price in the world, but this thing is pristine. It seriously looks like the shrinkwrap was removed, but the game was never played. Now I'm just waiting for a good deal on part IV...

Don't think so. Those SegaScope 3-D Glasses are shutter glasses...

I think one of the games has a secret command to play without the 3D, but I can't remember which it is. And yeah, no can do with any paper glasses.

Taken from Wiki...

Only eight Master System games are 3-D compatible.

Blade Eagle 3-D
Line of Fire (hold buttons 1 and 2 while switching the system on for 3-D mode)
Maze Hunter 3-D
Missile Defense 3-D (also requires the Light Phaser gun)
Out Run 3-D (playable in 2-D via the console pause button)
Poseidon Wars 3-D (can also be played in 2-D mode without glasses)
Space Harrier 3-D (can also be played in 2-D mode without glasses by entering THREE as your initials on the high score screen)
Zaxxon 3-D (playable in 2-D via the console pause button)

There are also glasses made by other companys that will work, but you will still need the adaptor which plugs into the SMS MK1/ Base Convertor card slot to play.

Edit: There's also a hidden Snail Maze game. Turn on the system with no cartrige inserted whilst pushing up and holding buttons 1 and 2 :)

I had an amazing day at the thrift store. I have been wanting to get out and check out the local shops for some time now but never really made the time. I rolled out of bed around noon and didn't get out til about 1 pm so I figured today would be a total wash. Boy, was I wrong. I damn near shat myself when I found a top loader NES on the shelf, looking all sexy, for only $5! They kinda [got cheap on] me by charging an extra $2 for the TV hook up but it was still a steal. No power cord though. It's a little dirty but it works beautifully. I had been looking for a top loader for over 10 years and I finally got one that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I kinda offset that buy buying the following with it:

Tecmo Super Bowl- $3.95 (SNES)
Double Dribble- $3.95 (NES)
Ninja Gaiden II- $3.95 (NES)
Dragon Spirit- $3.95 (NES)
Who Framed Roger Rabbi-t $3.95 (NES)
Pro Wrestling- $3.95 (NES)
Hot Shots Golf- $2.95 (PS1) Complete
RC Racer $2.95- (PS1) Complete
NFL Gameday 2001- $2.95 (PS1) Complete
MLB 98 $2.95- (PS1) Complete
You Don’t Know Jack Mock- 2 $2.95 (PS1) Complete
NCAA 2005/Top Spin- $2.95 (oXbox) Complete
2 NES Controller-s $3 each
NES Dogbone Controller- $3
*Total Damage (w/tax) $60

I know the PS1 games are kinda crummy (except Hot Shots an YDKJ 2) but they are in remarkably good condition. I pretty much got them to fill my PS1 collection. I am very much into building it up.

Seeing that someone just posted a Master System find, I figured I’d share too. I picked one up 2 weeks ago at a local used game store for $30 w/all hook-ups and 2 controllers. Again, I offset that by paying too much for games but I got Shinobi, Double Dragon, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, & Space Harrier all CIB for $50. I had those as a kid but my old man gave them away or something years back. I wanted to start off my Master System collection with the games I loved growing up. If I could only get my hands on a copy of Rastan on the cheap… Anyway, it’s been a good month. I don’t see how my girlfriend puts up with me buying so much sh*t. I picked up a lot of sh*t. Even got my sister a 250GB PS3 holiday bundle w/Infamous 1&2 and Uncharted 1&2 for $199.99 flat- no tax.
