-Shantae was on the cover to the second to last issue of Nintendo Power but hasn't been seen since.

I swear this franchise is cursed. Risky's Revenge IIRC was hampered by development issues and didn't turn out as good as it could have.

I've never actually played a Shantae game. Risky's Revenge isn't bad or anything is it?

I may import the SMTIV 3DS XL from Japan. Or just the very nice looking mint x white 3DS XL. Only for Project Mirai (and the upcoming sequel) and Taiko no Tatsujin. Thinking about it as a birthday gift to myself, haha. Then hopefully friends will get me the actual games.

It's a much more comfortable system than the original model. The screen is a bit pixelated but I don't really notice it when playing.

It is a pretty low res screen by today's standards. But the scanline look is quite pleasing, IMO.

Hori screen protectors may be more expensive than some other brands but, dang it, they look great and are very easy to install.

I got my 3DS about 10 days ago but I was too lazy to post about it . Anyway, I love it . Fire Emblem is amazing, and I found some really fun games on the eshop.

I got Starfox 64 3D with it, which as ports go is kind of bad. They changed the iconic voices FFS

But as I said Fire Emblem is an AMAZING game. It's the first game in the series I play and I'm loving it.

The graphics are amazing too. The 3D doesn't hurt my eyes, but it still feels pretty gimmicky (but for some reason I just can't get myself to turn it off )

The built quality on the console itself feels very good. A huge improvement over the original 3DS (of the little I've played with it in stores).

I got the 3DS XL model with Super Mario 3D Land pre-installed. The Mario game is so much fun! I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting much, but I really enjoy it. Also got Resident Evil Revelations, WWE All Stars, GTA Chinatown Wars, Chrono Trigger and Ocarina of Time, which the girlfriend hogs and turns into a scary monster whenever she plays it. Poor old Link is always getting shouted at

Edit: Fire Emblem is really hard BTW. I really suck at it
