Cool, I'm guessing this one's gonna be your unit?

The nice thing about the 32X is that it re-encodes the video from your Genesis's RGB output eliminating the annoying vertical rainbow lines present on all Model 2's except for the 3/4 systems which have a high quality AV encoder.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

actually i've have a model 1 genesis, model 2 sega cd, and a 32x that was all my originals systems since i was a kid. my friend never had a genesis so earlier this year i got him his 1st genesis which is a model 2. so he is only getting the 32X, I'm keeping the gun, and I'll prob pass the genesis on to another friend. $33 after shipping was an easy risk for what i was getting if it worked and it did.

Oh, in that case at least it'll eliminate the vertical lines in his Model 2 if he has one of the pre-3/4 units.

EDIT!: Good choice on keeping the Justifier, it's killer with Snatcher, Lethal Enforcers and the other games that support it.
