...ah... if only I had a gaming "budget." What is this "budget" you speak of? LOL.
Well, LOL! We set aside $ for months, sacrificing some of the creature comforts (we havent had cable tv for years) in order to fund our collection. It isnt easy, I know, but you would be surprised how much is spent on fast food, cigarettes, and other things we can do without or crap one does not need. It's a matter of setting priorities...The proof is in the collection!!

Wait, people set budgets for their games? I guess I self budget by being a cheap ass.
My Finds: I took a day trip out of the area for a little game hunting. The area is getting close to tapped out as I find less and less each visit. This time I picked up three NES games.
Dragon Warrior II - $15 Dragon Warrior IV - $30 Lemmings - $5
All in nice shape and bought them kind of blind as I couldn't test to see if any of them still saved. Thankfully they do. Also, not too much of a "deal" price wise, but I've started spending the real money on games that rarely show up in this area. Likely won't see these games again for a while.
I know what you mean. We started buying the rarer ones when they pop up. Sometimes we can get deals, sometimes we pay retail. Either way, our collection grows.

Good finds though. Happy hunting!
You and Wclem are both very lucky to have found someone with a passion for the same hobby. I know you've heard that before, but I'm saying it again!
man, I come home with a $5 Saturn game and my wife says, "ANOTHER game? Don't you have enough?"
on that note, been hitting a few of Amazon's lightning deals today and yesterday. Picking up pretty much all of the Lego games I don't have for $10 a pop. ($15 for Lego Batman 2) Man I love these games.

Yes, we are lucky!! Technically, I am a collector and he loves gaming. I never really got into games until I met him. But I needed an outlet for my urge to collect things and his hobby filled it. 4200+ games later and we are still going strong!

My husband would never hear those words! If anything, I have to goad him into buying things he is on the fence deciding on. Still, I have to say that I am the lucky one!
Oh, I forgot to list a PS1 game that we got during the trip... Final Fantasy Tactics. There were just so many games, it was hard to list them all. And I LOVE LEGO GAMES!! I have played them all and am now playing the Lego LOTR for the DS!
I went to a gamestop out in the country about an hour from my house and was just browsing, when the manager pulled out 2 Wii U's and placed the on the counter, just to be a smart @$$ i asked him if they were for sale, he said yeah after i make these (preoreder) calls you can have 1 (i guess it was an extra one). i waited 30 minutes and got it as well as Zombie U which i might add is a awesome game overall i didnt really get a deal (because i paid retail) but i did get a Wii U out of the blue
